A small God of War inspired level, find your way to the Temple of Lahkesis to speak with the Fates. Can you find all the chests (3) and slay the mythological monsters... Find it out now! (Chapter One)

My first real level ever published so go easy (Thanks for the feedback-tips ConfusedCartman ), I've made some levels before but I never thought they were worth keeping, and now after 2-3 weeks of building my project is done. The level is shorter than it was planned because i've spent alot of my thermometer on the environment and hidden places.

The level was inspired by the God of War series. You play in the same environment as in the game but you go through different areas, and the story is slightly different. It does has the Monsters and secrets you'd expect of a GoW game though. Note, this is the first chapter of the story and i'll continue making it if people are interested.

I've tried to make it look like the real temple of Lahkesis in GoW 2 and I think the temple design is pretty accurate now. Here are a few pictures of the level:

I was willing to give it a try because the pics look cool and for F4F but....
I couldn't find you and your lvl T-T
It took me around 10mins to tried different thing to search. unfortunately, "no results were found"

From the moment you let me test it, I knew this would be a win level, and haha! It is! Awesome work, brilliant attention to detail, the slow motion is incredible! I've never ever seen anyone do it, and I don't think anyone could do it better, excellent! Just a suggestion:

- I can see some switches! AAH! Where the Griffin battle is, there's an emitter showing, I cannot tell you where exactly but I presume it's one of the ones which emits the falling rocks. Also, near the beginning with the first slo-mo area, there's a global light switch showing too o_O'

Thanks for the feedback Korn, also thanks for helping me and giving me the motivation to finish it i'll make them invisible as soon as possible. Its hard to find the emitter in the end because there are like 50 there and about 50 sounds too Let the emitter hunt begin!

I don't know what you mean by the switches, maybe we can play it together so you can show?

I'm loving the look of it, but I too, I haven't been able to find it. I searched for both "ghost" and "sparta" and no results appeared. I didn't search by your name since I didn't remember it, hope you understand.

This was a really cool & fun level.
I loved all the hidden places and the level design & looks were awesome !!!

Suggestions:
Make the things that slow down time a little better. Just make better looking slow'mo switches

Oh and by the way, did you find 3 secret chests?

I only found 2 chests, one at the start and another after the movable pillars And when I say switch, I mean things like emitters and global lighting switches, grab switches, etc. Things that you usually make invisible

Before I start I should admit that I've not played any of the God Of War games, but going by your level, they must be very good! The look and atmosphere you've created is pretty menacing but also very attractive. The slow motion is really well done and I like the green light you use when it's activated.

Your monsters are impressive too. The first time I played the level I took quite a kicking from the final boss, but the second time I managed to deal with him alright! I think the first monster might be harder to deal with because he's got a lot of spikes and sometimes I bounced into them off the brain on his back.

The hidden chests are a nice idea and all the puzzles along the way are very varied and fun to solve. It's a great level and I look forward to your next one.

I had to search your level through Korn's hearted levels.
Quite an awesome level.
I really liked it, and it captures well some of the magic of GOW series.
The design is very cool, but I didn't enjoy the color correction a lot.
The lack of a background also make the level look blander.

But you have good platforming and puzzles, and an awesome boss battle, one of the best I've ever played actually, and the boss itself is really cool.

The pros overwhelms the cons by miles, so I rated your level 5 stars.

I found it, yeah!!! Okay, here's the feedback.

Pros
lvl looks awesome!, nice touch on everything!
The obstacles are okay but the way you lead us through lvl is great!
Creatures look nice
I love the Boss execution
Nice sound effects

Cons
Boss fight is in the between Fun and Frustrated (more likely on the fun way)

Overall

Your level was great, there aren't many things i can think of changing, although you maybe making the level a tad bit longer would be cool. also maybe adding more treasure chests, and more enemies. i like the enemy you faught in the beginning, but perhaps ad more detail to it, such as hair or colour (that big ogre thing) and perhaps have other God of War type enemies. i haven't played GoW, so i cant think of other things to ad. but it's definetly a level worth playing		2009-09-25 01:49:00

Honestly I don't any complaints that I feel need to changed. Great level. I can understand the shortness of the level, It didn't really bother me that much. The monsters you made look awesome, the puzzles were nice and varied, and the level was actually pretty challenging (which I love). I had to play through it twice thanks to the final boss. That guys is an a**hole . Also the slow motion was done very well.
