| Love, Misfortune, LightGrethiwha I haven't made a LittleBigPlanet level for a while now, but the other day I was in the mood, and this is what I came up with. One of my favourite game developers is Suda51, and I'm currently playing one of his early games, "Flower, Sun, and Rain". The game mechanics aren't great but it's just so crazy and unique, that there's still some appeal. This is kind of like that. This level plays out like a small collection of random thoughts that I turned into level as they popped into my head, without me really thinking them through. It's far from my best level, but my hope is that it's quirky and surreal enough that some people dig it. all I like doing these little advertisements for my levels as opposed to straight screenshots, but I should preface this one by saying, I don't know anything about Japanese... There is a glossary of Japanese characters at the back of my Ōkami game manual, and I worked a couple of them into my level, and went for a theme based slightly on that. For this advert, I used Google translate, and then re-translated back to English, for the authentically bad translations. Hopefully I haven't somehow done something offensive.  http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/4332/lovemisfortunelight.jpg I'm not trying to sell this level as hard as I have previous levels, because there are some issues with it, especially with the rolling coin mechanic thing used for more than half the level (which can fail and force you to start the level over again) and I can't really do much more about it than I already have. But that's not the point. The point is, I had fun making this. I didn't torture myself with little details, and I threw in random lights and effects and elements that I normally don't get to use, just for the heck of it.
