I have a 80GB Playstation I purchased and use in the USA. I received LBP (PAL version) as a gift and cannot play PSN multiplayer due to major lag. I was able to play once without lag but usually the game lags out and disconnects after 10 seconds or so. I am using 3.6 MB DSL connection. Is this because the game is a PAL version? Because of my Internet Connection speed? Or do I just have bad luck finding players with a good connection match? Any work around? All help is appreciated.

I think this belongs in the help section. Lag is a major factor in LBP, and don't worry it's probably not because you have a PAL version. But there are work arounds and trying to find a better solution on playing online multiplayer. Do you have any friends that own LBP (PAL version, I had a friend with a NTSC version but because i owned a PAL version they couldn't connect to me... they might of fixed that... i gotta check later) Try playing with people that you know first, you can figure out the cause of the lag. I normally lag when I hit quick play but hardly lag at all when playing with my friends that are across the block. So if it's ok while playing with your friends then you just have a hard time finding people with a decent connection or people that are close to your area.
