Poor Gevurah22

Archive: 24 posts

i know people say ignore this but i feel quite angry about this, i recently played on gevurahh22s Steampunk samurai and really enjoyed it, i went to read the comments to see what people thought about it, when i noticed someone had put a comment that took up 3 comment spaces, beasically saying that gevurah22 was a waste of air food and water which i think is the worst possible thing that could have been said, i really hope gevurah22 wasn't too affected by these lies2009-09-13 10:29:00

In other words, they're jealous that they coudn't make anything as good as his. Take it as a compliment. 2009-09-13 10:46:00

That's what I would say too.
Some of the best levels in LBP get 3 stars sometimes because some people are jealous.

Gevurah is mature enough to know that he should take a good laugh and don't bother.
The real problem is the deviated mind of these people that don't have a life and lose time with these kind of comments.

Instead of trying to improve their own levels by playing and learning from others... they just decide to type comments on other peoples levels.

That sure will get you more hearts and plays!

It MAY be jealousy, but then again it may be lack of gaming skills. Many levels in LBP are treated poorly because they're difficult or require new skills to complete, and the gamer interprets that as the levels fault.

I also has a lot of fun with this level, and was appreciative that he designed a level that had totally unique gameplay.

He's a big boy I'm sure he'll look at it for what it is. All great levels get criticised unfairly on the comments. I seen someone calling Scary Factory by Geosautus 'boooorrrrrrrrrrrriiiiinggg' last night

A lot of young children play this game and it's an easy way for them to get their kicks. They can do something rather naughty and not get in any trouble for it. It's just the nature of being a child, they're yet to understand or realise the effort that goes into such creations.

The other day I went to put a comment on The Ancient Castle, just saying how great it was, and there was a comment there basically saying that the level sucks and was only worth 1 star because they just hadn't understood one of the puzzles in the level

Yes, unfortunately, that's the way people operate. If someone cannot finish a level, instead of taking two minutes to work something out, they quit and say that you're a worthless human being and that you should die in a fire. I doubt that donkeyshow is going to take this comment to heart. I'm sure he's gotten plenty a comment like this in his day. I know I have.2009-09-13 15:17:00

I saw those comments yesterday... Too bad LBP doesn't have a feature to write a message to a creator directly, only comments on levels.

But yeah, no one can seriously think that steampunk samurai is the worst level on LBP, I think he was just mad that he couldn't beat it

It's the internet. If he used any community driven soft or website since some time he will not be affected by those stupidities.

Just pictures this, people ARE immature for a start and then in LBP you add a coating of kids on the cake. This results in the comments you saw there.

I actually seen those comments yesterday. The guy said it was a horrible level and that the samurai was way to annoying and tedious to control. Then he sad he was a waste of space and a load of other things.

Steampunk samurai is great. Very very very great.

Yeah, I had trouble playing it - but I knew that it wasn't the levels fault, I just wasn't good enough >.<
Still a spectacular level especially considering how long ago it was made and the time constraints.
I'm sure Donkey_show (as he's known on here) will be fine

Meh, I would just "lol", or shoot the guy down with...

...I doesn't matter, but I'm sure he can just brush this imbecile away. He's just another sucker who should put on a dress and curl up into a box.

Then be pushed off a tall building...

...Slightly off-topic, but am I the only one who hates little kids?

If this is where we can say our opinions, I didn't really like the level at all, and it certainly wasn't amazing. Not the gevurah deserves the hatred or anything.2009-09-13 16:40:00

People on the internet are a lot braver than they have any right to be in person. This curtain of anonymity makes them feel invincible, though most people wouldn't dare say things that they say online in real life. I haven't seen this comment on the level, but I'm sure if he has any levels up, they are horrendous compared with anything gevurah22 has created. Someone should send him a civil, well-worded, and well-argued PSN message both asking him what makes him such an expert critic and where his GOTY level is. 2009-09-13 17:40:00

LOL! I saw that the other day. I just replied, "u mad?"

I think it's great for someone to express all their anger and hatred towards me in that fashion, because regardless of their skill level, it only makes them look foolish. I'm pretty sure if we compared levels, let alone life achievements... well it wouldn't be necessary. I'm 27 years old man, I've been through a whole lot worse LOL. Petty internet slander isn't going to hurt me one bit.

Thanks to those who like the Steampunk Samurai and to those who didn't, the same as well. =)

Pretty much all hate comments makes the commenter look stupid. And I'll bet almost every great creator out there winds up laughing at their stupidity. I cracked up at russles dumb comments on my level mainly cause of 2 things:

1: he posted the hate comments on not only my out of date level (which just tells you about upcoming and discontinued DLC, which still has the Infamous one still on there, thats how old it is) but on my brothers level (and i don't check the comments on there cause its his) not to mention one comment just proves I am a good creator and he is not (the argument was about heart/play ratios)

and 2: 1 he posted was all in lowercase which cracked me up since he always types in all uppercase. I seriosuly need to make a picture of it Cause it sounds unbelievable

this was a well designed level. The mech suit wasnt too stable but there isnt much you can do about that when you just have something floating ontop of a sackboy with a jet pack on.

not the kinda of level that i personally like but can deinitely appreciate it.

the only thing that can be done to make a more stable/accurate jetpack powered shooter thing is to make it as small as possible. But by making it as small as possible it probably wont look very cool.

he did a good job implementing it, and the game play around it suits the limitations of the object. People hating probably never experimented in createmode and expect a pinpoint accurate mechsuit

Seconding BSprague!

On one of my levels someone left a comment that basically read that they gave it one star because they died!
