Passing Time Until Oct. 21st

I was just curious as to how everyone is passing the time until release. I'm currently playing alot of Soul Calibur and trying to get the Warhawk trophies.

Well for those of you checking up on the arts section, you know what I've been up to

Other than that, I bought the Star Wars Force Unleashed book. I finally had time to read the first chapter the other day. Just awesome, I can see why it got best-seller status. I figure when I'll play the game, I'll have a deeper understanding of the force, ur... story I mean :arg:

I've been keeping busy with a steady stream of NHL 09 and Rock Band 2. Theyre both insanely deep games I'm pretty sure they'll keep me busy until Little Big Planet comes out. I might even get Midnight Club but I think it got delayed. Oh well. Other then that work and the girlfriend will take up the rest of my time lol2008-09-17 14:40:00

I'm waiting 58 minutes, and 22 seconds as of now ( well, not exactly ) watching my eBay item end, which by the way is going to be how i'm gettin my PS3, selling my Xbox. But, when I do get it, I'll probably get Warhawk, because it seems like everyone has it and it's a good game right? That's what I'll be doing till Oct. 21st.2008-09-19 00:16:00

Eh, I'm up for a challenge But yea, sucks though because no one bid on my Xbox 360, I think it has to do with the fact that both me and my friend were trying to sell them as one item, so the price was around 800 dollars. I relisted it, hopefully it'll sell when its just one xbox.		2008-09-19 05:16:00

Yeah, I got it for the 360, and I seriously couldn't believe the graphics, I seriously thought something was wrong with my cd, none of the graphics were as I imagined, I mean... Mercs 1 had better graphics to be honest, I noticed that when I wanted to call an airstrike, I would enter the Helicopter View and the trees would be 2 dimensional. It was pathetic... Hopefully it's not like that on the Playstation 3.		2008-09-19 05:35:00

From the few minutes I played the demo (before getting bored and moving on to other things) yea it seemed to be just as bad. Maybe it's a concession they had to make for the everything to be destructible... Is it though? I didn't play long enough to find out. Is EVERYTHING destructible? I had alot of fun playing Mercs 1, because it was a new concept, it eventually got boring. Mercs 2 just seems boring from the get-go 2008-09-19 07:08:00

Almost everything is destructible, everything that is just there is destructible, but things that are part of the story line and objectives are not. Lets say you need a certain bridge to be there in the next level, you can't blow it up. But 98% of the game is destructible.		2008-09-19 07:40:00

Oh believe me, it's fun for about 6 hours, if you have friends to play with, then it's even better because it has Co-Op. But that's about as good as it gets, after 6 hours it just seems too repetitive, especially the storyline, you basically and I mean basically do the same thing for each of the "new members" you get on your side, you do something for them, they join with you, you meet someone new, do something for them, they join your side, meet a bad guy, do something against him, he gives up and joins your side... See the pattern? I'd rent it if anything. 		2008-09-19 08:25:00

haha, i've got a friend with 2 ps3s (one in his living room, one in his bedroom). and he has 2 tvs in his room: a 62inch for watching movies and a 32inch HD for his ps3.

p.s. i hate him. lol. his ps3s are at his dads house, and he currently only has 1 xbox360 at his moms, maybe he'll want to keep the doubles thing going? lol 		2008-09-19 13:51:00
