I still believe in 2D, they have a flow and pace that 3D games don't have, so I hope they will deliver something good. I would very like Sonic and Strider in 2D Hi-Def (with maps like Pandemonium on PSOne). I also think that they should make a platform that lasts at least 8 hour of gameplay, and that would be just insane. Anyway...Sonic...I belive.

Hell, I bet all the Sega execs are smoking blunts made out of the very money said kids used to buy their crappy games with at this very moment. :3

I am definitly curious about this. I abandoned Sonic after Sonic Adventure. I loved it, but every game after Sonic Adventure, except SA2, which I haven't had a chance to play, just didn't feel like Sonic to me, or appealing in any way. I'll be looking forward to this one. I hope it isn't a failure.

They better not screw this one up, because this could finally bring back some of their reputation. Bring on the Sonic 2D!!! Sega's just doesn't have the sense not to screw this up in some awful way. Best case-scenario, we'll be getting Sonic 4: Return of The Were-Hog. 2-D!!. The last good Sonic game was Adventure 2, which was 3D! After that, they all fail. Sorry, but it's true. Very true. That was, and still is one of my very favorite games... Chao were awesome!

I've only ever played the first two games, which were, obviously, in 2D, so I can't complain about all the 3D stuff. I do however know what it's like when games change everything *cough*Crash*cough*Rayman*cough*cough*

This will fail. For as long as they think it was the speed that made Sonic great in the 16 bit era they will continue to fail. Seriously, they bring the speed thing all the time. .

Sonic belongs in 2D. At least now they have a chance.
