Just thought I'd show you all this awesome website. Updated about thrice daily, it's a collection of interesting tidbits and interesting facts. Take todays, One-note Sentences (http://www.futilitycloset.com/2009/09/08/one-note-sentences/), phrases from around the world that are the same sound repeated many times (such as our Buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo...etc.) http://www.futilitycloset.com That's the website. Take a click, and read on. I've read around 100 pages of this stuff in the last year, and haven't seen a single uninteresting post.

That's a cool site. Weird about the digits of pi, the White House telephone number and the alphabetical thing too.

I've been on it for the past half hour and I must say that this is a great site! I didn't quite understand the alphabetical thing though, if I start off with JKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZABCDEFGHI, then remove all letters with left-right symmetry I am left with JKL NPQ RSZ BCD EFG. The next instructions were to "count the letters in each of the five groups that remain" which didn't really make sense to me, so I just divided them into five groups of three, which means nothing to me. Am I over-thinking this, or just being thick?

Leave them in their groups JKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZABCDEFGHI JKL_N_PQRS______Z_BCDEFG 3.141...uh...6. The Real value is 5, but it's rounded to 6. Pi is 3.141592653.

Quit linking me to addicting sites! Lol @ Bsprague overthinking it... it was in the pi section after all . I especially liked the jabberwocky poem that has been spell-checked. I hadn't heard of the poem before playing the LBP level, but I played it enough to know most of it. Ah, I can't remember who made the level, though. It needs to go on your "to-play" list, dawesbr. I was going into patterns and algorithms and all sorts of nonsense. I saw that it was in the pi section, but I thought it was a mistake. :blush: Also, the one the makes 4=5 is wrong, obviously. The mistake isn't even subtle.

Are you sure you're "riffle-shuffling" (I think that's where you bend the crads so the flop into a one-from-the-left-hand-one-from-the-right pattern, then arch the cards to slide them all neatly into place.
