graygooose' Gooseviews hahaha (Queue Is Closed :( )

Archive: 53 posts

EDIT: All is done and done is all... I really enjoyed having to gooseview y'alls levels and that now ill be getting back into creating again. We'll see what im gonna come up with and I hope that y'all have time to play mine as well.... Thank You All!!

Well... After some plays of some of the awesomest and the very coolest of the bestest levels, huh?... Im planning on playin around in create mode again and If my thought process allows it, I might continue on The Count Of St. Claire Series so i could possibly publish a level or two... well maybe one or... two?.... Like you care

So graygoose' Gooseviews hahaha will be closing its queue.

But Before that, Im still reviewing whats left of the list so No worries guys

Been out for 2 months playing Fallout 3.. Now thats over with (thank God), im trying to get back my interest on LBP.

So now i want some fresh new levels to play. Perhaps by doing this, it might just crank up my engine and finish some unfinished business...

If you know me and you know ive played and given you a Gooseview (feedback) for your old levels before, then please dont ask me to give you another one. Otherwise if you got new levels and you think your levels are cool... Well then, post it.

Here's a fair warning, im sort of an elitist (yeah).... So you may get some high scores from another review but itll all depend on many things when i play your level. And these things are;

- Level and character design
- Music and sound effects
- Story
- Fun Factor (Gameplay and Difficulty)

And an optional category
- If i notice something worth mentioning in your level (This could be good or bad and it will influence your Overall Rating)

All four categories will be rated with :star:s.

:star:
:star::star:
:star::star::star: 1, 2 and 3 :star: levels are lowest (blank levels and the sort)
:star::star::star::star:
:star: :star::star::star::star: 4 and 5 :star: levels are Fair
:star::star::star::star::star::star:
:star::star::star::star::star::star::star: 6 and 7 :star: levels are Average
:star::star::star::star::star: :star::star::star: 8 :star: levels are Above Average
:star::star::star::star::star: :star::star::star::star: 9 :star: levels are Very Good
:star::star::star::star::star: :star::star::star::star::star: 10 :star: levels are Excellent

I strongly doubt that someone would get an overall 10. (Care to prove me wrong?)

Also there will be NO HEART 4 HEART LEVELS Ill just Ignore you if you even dare ask.

I will only Gooseview one of your level at a time so pick your best one when requesting.

Might i add that, I will also try as much as i can to shorten the length of my Gooseviews for personal reasons. Unless i just couldnt resist to say how Awesome your level is, or i see potential and i just couldnt help but try to give you some pointers. Anyways just dont expect much (is all im saying).

Oh and by the way, If by any chance that your bored or your curious to what kind of a Level creator/Reviewer i am, then you can check out my levels. And give me some feedback if you like, good or bad.

So lets begin The graygoose' Gooseviews hahahaha (cheesy i know):

I'll be number 2! Would you kindly review:

Brain Chain Mini-Game (Survival Challenge)

PSN: comphermc

If you've never played it before, give it a few go's. It takes some getting used to. You should easily rack up 20,000+, but a much higher score is possible. If you're still having trouble, here's a helpful hint:

When you land in a new column, bounce up and down 3-5 times before moving to the next column. Your combo doesn't break and it gives you time to plan out your next move.

First off, I sure thought i was gonna be on the top five list until all my 14,000 points went down to a mere 5,000 in that dreadful leaky pneumatic motor powered piping..... whatever hahaha..

Level and character design 8/10

Background was pretty average, some good use of lighting and the gas and leaky piping were nice, Characters are a bit 6/10 but the environment and the use of 3d layering was very good.

Music and Sound Effects 8/10

The Background music tends to get old for some reason especially at the 1st part, but it eventually gets interesting. Sound effects are just right.

Story 7/10

Not much here really, but the story makes sense. There was also funny dialogue when you meet up with some NPCs.

Fun Factor and Gameplay 10/10

This is where this level really shines, , This level was quite challenging for a first run, and there wasnt anything wrong with it in my opinion, since all my deaths were all because of my shear stupidity and my adventurous curiosity hahaha..

It also brings out the competitiveness of the player making it engaging. There were loads of hidden areas to explore, and plenty of points to accumulate. Point bubble placements were well placed and that it can enable players to rack up more points with combos.

Well done

(Optional) Logic Gates 9/10

A survival level thats quite electrifying and addicting.

Level and Character Design 8/10

There arent any characters in this level so i dont think i should incorporate that into this review.

Level design however, is quite neat and clean, good choice of color matching and lighting.

Music and Sound Effects 7/10

Nothing much to base on really since its a Survival level. Although, i do want point out that the first part of the BGM (Instructions section) doesnt quite flow in well with the next part (Gameplay section)

Note that The gameplay music suit well.

Story

This level is a Survival Game type so ill say that its excluded to the Overall rating. Otherwise you'll definitely get a low score.

Fun Factor, Gameplay and Difficulty 9/10

The Game concept is quite simple since all you try to do is jump and kill off brains and rack up some points. But its very addicting. I first couldnt get a combo right since i tried bouncing all over the place. Thats until i tried creating combos in only 1 column then it got really interesting.

Now once i got the hang of things, things got a little complicated and more challenging when Blue Plasma balls started firing downwards on me aaaah!. And of course after a while when i thought that was really nothing, Two of them started to fire down on me lol what a predicament i thought.

In the end i managed to get around 60,000+ points woohooo! I could only assume i could get even more if i tried harder.

Thanks! Great little review.

I'm not sure how far you got, but there are a few more stages beyond the 60,000 range. Eventually, those electrified "spikes" above the room start moving up and down. Then the last stage is a super annoying pulsing yellow light. Only the brave make it that far .

Much appreciated.

Just to point out 1 thing about my review for your level that got 8 stars. This is just the way i feel about Survival levels. My capacity for its type will only go up to 9 out of 10 only because their short and it only offers 1 direction and that is "FUN". And I did enjoy it.

That said, Im quite impressed with your skills as a level creator.

This is one crazy level, in a good way. I was treated to a world of messy, blown out of proportion randomness and i liked it hahaha. Also this level held a very important message to MM, about how the system of sticking your level into cool levels. It is flawed and i could only hope that MM is still trying their best to get it done right.

Level and Character Design 8/10

The level design was just crazy, and it is a fact that the whole level was designed by 4 people. I could see GruntosUK's maze type mapping was definitely used on this and some Anime art were probably done by Hardsync and Larry and i would only think the pure randomness of this all would come from our very own xkappax lol.

Music and Sound effects 7/10

Music was ok, not a whole lot in sound effects but the BGM was just right and that it makes the player feel happy lol.

Story 8/10

8 stars for funny dialogue, randomness and a good message.

Fun factor, Gameplay and Difficulty 8/10

A fairly easy level and theres even a boss to fight, 2 bosses in fact. I want to add that i liked how you introduced your final boss near the end, wasnt original or anything coz Donkeyshow has done it before. But it was a good intro for a boss.

In the end, this was just a fun level to play and that by trying it out, you'll find the reasons why your "cool level" isnt in the cool levels section.

Oh NO! I just got GOOSED!

Well, WE just got goosed, as there WERE four of us that worked on this!

I want to add that the final boss was actually a parody of Donkey Show's boss. I had played Azure Palace for the first time EVER right before we started on this level, and his boss was ABSOLUTELY my inspiration. You're the first person who's ever commented on that, but it was completely my intention that the boss resembled that dragon!

As a bit of a breakdown, Larry and I did the top section. I can't remember which of us worked on what, but I know that he made the ramps, vehicles and all the stairs. I actually am the one that did the anime dark matter art.

Hardsync did the H4H section, complete with the "midboss"

Gruntos made the whole level "connecty" and he did the prize section, with the exception of the area where you free the monster. Hardsync and I did that section.

All in all, it was a true group effort. ^_^ I want to thank all those guys for working on this with me, and I want to thank you, graygoose, for such a nice review!

Golly! I think someone just got a 10 here and might have proven me wrong... Well, we'll see about that, I still have time to think it over up until I finish writing this review, then we'll know.

Level and Character Design 9/10

Wow! It looks Amazing. The atmosphere in this level looks perfect, its just what I would imagine when I visualize the The Star Wars Yoda training part scenario. The lighting effects suits very well and the green gas helps create the marsh type surroundings.

The rain!? Hold on a sec... Ive seen this rain before.. Oh yeah! I made one just like it 3 months ago. If you havent seen it come check it out in My levels "The Count Of St. Claire Chapter 1" The rain you made looks great in your level, but i wanna suggest that you should try fading your rain out in its edges to keep it from looking like "Its raining in this part but nothing on the next part"

You do that by putting less of your rain material to come out of your emitters, and do it gradually if you've got enough space in your thermo.

Characters! Very nice Yoda and enemy design. And the way the spiders act puts some originality to your creatures. Very good!

Music and Sound Effects 10/10

I say the Music and Sound Effects is just perfect. I can totally get into the mood that the author is trying to show in this level. Most of the Interactive environments have sound effects on them, that makes it believable, one for example is when you fall coming from the tree trunk on your way to your 3rd part of the training.

Story 9/10

Very funny dialogue, while keeping the main points of the original story. I like how you replace important things and incorporate them into LBP language. That was smart.

Fun Factor, Gameplay and Difficulty9/10

While its difficulty is not much of a challenge, I truly enjoyed playing this level, since it has many aspects of gameplay, The Platforming that was used for the training section made me feel like I was really playing a Jedi on training. Then you have your search and minor puzzle types that kept it interesting.

Optional for Mood and Atmosphere 9/10

Overall Rating :star::star::star::star::star: :star::star::star::star:

After some thought, I rate this level as being very close to a 10 which I would say a 9.5, but as for In Game rating, you have your answer right there. Great Job!

Ive actually played this level before but i havent really said any feedback about. I found this level to be a really great Survival game then and it still is now. I even managed to break my own record of 3700, raise it up to 4800 and go up to stage 6 (I think)

Level and Character Design 9/10
Since its your typical Survival type, there isnt really much to base on. But with what Ive seen from what the level could offer was pretty good.

The Lighting and Background effects and Mechanics are nice and somehow added challenge to its gameplay. (Explained further in Gameplay Category)

Music and Sound Effects 8/10

Very nice.

Story
Rating Exempted

Fun Factor, Gameplay and Difficulty 10/10

Yup! Its what you would expect from a Survival and Mini Game Types, they may lack In other Categories especially in story, But they most often make up for it with Fun and Addicting Gameplay.

The spinning background and lighting added to its difficulty making it more challenging, which is good!

The different enemy types and Objects of threat really makes you think twice on how to beat them. Giving the player to plan a strategic play in order to survive long.

Optional Point Bubble System 7/10

This is a downside of the level that I just needed to mention. Its nothing major or game breaking.

Acquiring the point bubbles in the game was kind of a chore, especially when their small and laid out in a circular way. This made it harder to keep combos since its kind of difficult to make your sackboy fly and make a perfect circle (to me anyways)

Also, destroying the stars and Cannon type enemies was no problem but they reward you point bubbles that would fall. giving a player less time to actually grab their prize. And sometimes even when I do get to it, i only manage to get 80-90% of the pile, then they fall into oblivion.

its sorta makes me say "Awww its too bad i couldnt get all the point bubbles"

I think its very important for players to get their point bubbles as convenient as possible. Perhaps this was done so, to make it harder for the player? maybe so, which i can understand, but cmon man i just killed that thing while dodging plasma balls, electrified Debris and a burning meteor, cut me some slack will ya? hahahaha..

Overall Rating :star::star::star::star::star: :star::star::star:

In the end, I did enjoy having to play this level. I would suggest making those Point bubbles that form a circular pattern after a stage be BIGGER at the least.

And perhaps you could use prize bubbles in a stack of 3 as prizes to replace the those that come out when destroying an enemy.

Great review, thanks!

Interestingly, unlike a normal survival challenge there is a proper finish - and the end of the last stage is a totally non-lethal-things-flying-all-over-the-place-blast-and-pick-up-tons-of-point bubbles-fest. Sounds like you were close - stage 6 is the last stage.

Also, with the exact shape and size of the bubble pattern once you get used to grabbing them you can grab every one of them in a sweeping motion every time.

Thanks for the awesome review!

First thing I noticed was the Tractor Beam.. Wow!

Level and Character Design 10/10

This level is just too pretty, There's so much eye candy that every area i move into, it gets me to pause in awe.

In other words, It seemed like steve_big_guns dangled lots of pretty little trinkets and got me so distracted that i forgot what i was supposed to do. hahaha

The Sticker/Accessory and Material use was well thought out. And something about the volcanic cave that i really like. Perhaps the its the lighting in the background and the cartoony look of it really interests me.

The little chu-chu train hahaha...

The Characters are also made in a cartoony but lifelike kind of way, very nice.

Music and Sound Effects 10/10

The Music and sound effects were great and well suited for the theme of the level.

Story 8/10

There wasnt really much in the story department, but the player will eventually find a reason for why he's there. And that for tryin out the Very Cool Virtual Reality Machine of Awesomeness, the player's interest to play the game is there.

having said that, didnt I mention that this level looks so awesome?

Fun Factor, Gameplay and Difficulty 9/10

Ahh... Fun is the level it is my friend it is fun. huh what? Although this level doesnt provide much in difficulty, I really had a fun time with its platforming sections. I particularly like the part where you had to cross some platforms that moves not just by sideways but also up and down.

Also there were maybe a couple of mini games that was thrown in thats worth mentioning.

And finally after you thought youre done with everything, you get surprised with a fantastic boss battle. Its an almost epic Boss battle, that provides a 2 stages.

First time players of this level will find it challenging but really once you understand its routine pattern it isnt much of a threat. Thats why i even managed to get 3rd in the scoreboard, and maybe even 1st if i didnt purposely killed the boss in the end. ( i just couldnt find the time to rack up another 8000 more points hahaha.)

Optional Logic gates and Neatness 9/10

What can i say? Youre a very skilled creator.

GRIPES!!!

Yeah i know right? hehe

The spider? I just couldnt help my self but notice a negative focal point in the lab, a black spider was dangling in such a neat lab. why? Can i suggest a ceiling fan or maybe a some piping?

And Manual elevator in such an advanced facility that pulled me with a tractor beam. Ugh!

my first ever review .

Im not sure if you figured it out but the spider is actually grabable to allow you to reach the shelves in order to activate the prize swithch to the far right of the lab. also the manual lift was the best choice in order not leave the other players behind without having to take the full trip to the next level which becomes frustrating.

Thanks a lot for the great review. Ive just published another level if you feel like reviewing (i really hope so as your reviews a so good).

Its really minor tho, nothing to worry about hehe. That's what creators normally get, when making an almost perfect of a level. (Its a fact that theres always something)

Umm.. Im actually thinking of getting back to level creating one of these days so im gonna have to put the graygoose' Gooseviews hahaha on hold after ive done the latest. (Still quite a list actually)

But i will play your new level tho. Perhaps leave a comment too. Thanks for creating! keep it up. Man! i wish people would say that to me.. Oh? did i say that out loud?

Really tried my best on this survival level to make a fair review. Still, I didnt make the finish but I ended up 2nd Place after 15 tries.

Level and Character Design 7/10
Well, this level looked pretty ok. There wasnt much Detail and the use of planes/layers were almost 2d.

I liked the gooey slime design that you've used on your platforms, If only you've used them in all of you platforms. Also, a different color for your background that would contrast well to the gooey green color would really help liven things up a bit.

A level thats quite rough on the edges in level design, that needs more polishing.

Music and Sound Effects 7/10
This level had plenty (Possibly all Music...) of Background Music to offer because of the BGM selector, which is a good thing.

But after a few retries, I chose to not use any and found out that it lacks in the Sound effects Department.

Also, that buzzer for the Music sign, kinda got annoying after awhile... hmm maybe i was grumpy when i played this hahaha

Story

Rating Exempted

Fun Factor, Gameplay and Difficulty 8/10

Its a fun level, although it kinda forces players to restart the level so many times, that the average player would have quit a long time ago.

A few things ive noticed that i had to make use of my patience were:

1. The 1st wall blockade that makes players wait there for a good hour or so (over exagerrating hehe )
2. The launching platform that would launch players straight up making it hard to grab the switch for the lowering steps. I would suggest positioning that into an angle in the direction of the switch.
3. Camera angles are way off, when climbing the lowering steps making it hard to judge when to jump onto the next platform.
4. The maze type area was a downside to this level in my opinion. It served more of a trap when i wanted to grab the point bubbles causing me to restart the level 3 times. Some arrows would really help players.
5. And finally, i got up to the 2nd to the last floor. But i find it really hard to finish this since the gas was climbing way too fast when im not even climbing. the 2nd floor was made that my sackboy would have use the crane and move it to the right wing (direction) while doing so i had to avoid Flamed Walls Of Death Obstacles. lol. After reaching up to this point and having to have the same result (sackboy dieing). I called it quits.

While I did had sort of a challenge in this level, it was good. If you would take on my suggestions, you'll become a better creator.

Thank you so much for the review. (It took me 2 weeks to make this, because I am fairly new to level creating.) I did not expect it to get a 7 star rating from you! Yes I agree that the buzzer does get annoying. I will fix this. I will also fix how fast the gas rises. There are 3 hidden areas in the level to find score bubbles. Did you find them?
Anyways, back on subject, I will fix up the platform, the maze, I will add arrows, I will add more slime/goo, and I will fix up the background when I have time....
You should have seen the levels I deleted....They were horrid! 1 star levels. This level was my best and once again thank you!

Mind Boggling Of a level phew... But somehow, easier than Mission 1.

Level and Character Design 9/10

This level (like the level before it) is very atmospheric in nature, and that it really captures the way Survival Horror type games plays. The use and control of lighting is very well suitable and i really felt some goosebumps when i saw that shadow in the basement hahaha.

Very nice Component Object designs are seen in this level. Some worth mentioning are the carousel and the ferrys/ferris/feris/fires/ wheel (Ugh! whatever the spelling is )

Music and Sound Effects 9/10

ooOOOoooooh.... ooOOoooOOOoooooOOh. Get it? Well if not then try playing the level alone and by yourself in the middle of the night, when the light is off and you'll find your self reminiscing for some Silent Hill and Siren games.

Music and Sound effects are fantastic!

Story 8/10

Hmm.. This level is part of a series in which you are someone who's trying to escape this bitter nightmare of a reality. Its a bit of a puzzler and kinda makes you think whats really happening and why you are there.

There isnt much of a dialogue except for the Notes, Clues and 1st person conversation that will help guide the player through out the level.

Fun Factor, Gameplay and Difficulty 8/10

This level is kind of challenging in a different way that makes the use of the player's intellect and common sense.

The puzzles and item searching was a necessity for this level, for it only thrives from it. And it was made in a simple but smart way.

Impatient players should be wary for this level will though for it will wear you down if your not serious enough.

Very cute and peaceful level that concludes with a somewhat crazy fastpaced boss battle.

Level and Character Design 9/10

I really liked the way this level looks The material and background choices blend well with each other. Notably, the design of trees and the background are perfect.

Very cool contraptions are seen in this level like the sky cable car.. looks pretty.

Music and Sound Effects 8/10

Good BG Music and sound effects. The wood rattling sound youve used was a good idea.

Story 7/10

There isnt so much in the story department for this level. But I did like having to fight somekind of boss in the end, that makes it worthwhile.

Fun Factor, Gameplay and Difficulty 8/10

The first part of the level was kind of slow and just watching you float away made me kinda wanna just jump off, this was also the same thing i felt when i finished the level.

Having said that everything else was an enjoyable experience.

I really liked the way the gameplay mechanics was made in this level. The hanging part in a pulley made me feel intense in a way also i liked bouncing from the platforms and i could ony wish there were more of it.

Having the trap was sort of a point breaker tho, so i decided to try and beat your high score in the end while avoiding unnecessary deaths.

I think i have missed 1 combo and end up sitting in 2nd place instead hahaha thats alright tho im happy with it.

The boss battle was definitely a change of pace and it made this level more interesting. Thanks!

Good level.

Level and Character Design 7/10

I found this level to be looking pretty okay, There was good use of lighting and some character designs were pretty cute ie. The Monstrous Spiders hehehe.

Although lacking some experience, I can tell that creator had put some effort into making this level look good.

Music and Sound Effects 6/10

There wasnt any kind of BG Music whatsoever that would have helped this level boost its score. And im pretty sure there would have been a good variety of choices to choose from. There was of course some good use in the sound effects department, but overrall, i feel that it really lacked.

Story 6/10

Dialogue was i bit "instructionalist" lol (i just made that word up). Lets rephrase that, I feel that the Dialogue offered too much instructions and too direct that i felt like spoiling the game for me. And i, as a player, was just a mechanical puppet of some sort. I would suggest refraining from such methods in the future.

On another note, I couldnt really understand why i was being led to the attic, and end up jumping towards a a dark cloud of gas to kill my self???

Story was Fair..

Fun Factor, Gameplay and Difficulty 6/10

I scored 1st place yeepeee! This level has an easy mode in difficulty also there were a few switches fetching and some platforming.

thanks Goose

I found the best part of my level the part in the mental hospital and the creepy elevator.

It's hard for me to create beautiful environments, I sometimes wonder how you people do it?

Yeah there isn't so much of a story as a theme... all the different coloured levels start and finish with a balloon ride!

Thanks again for the review! I got goosed!

A level that needs more effort and improvement.

Level and Character Design 4/10

The level design was quite bland and empty for this level.

Very minimal objects or contraptions are seen, that makes it quite empty. And most of the entire level is comprised of Gas and burning Coal Material.

Music and Sound Effects 4/10

Lacking in BG Music and Sound Effects.

Story 4/10

As a player, you may journey through space and find your self inside the Icarus ship that there seemed to have been a tragic incident of some sort.

Then you encounter burning matter obstacles and avoid them while flying by jetpack, I could only assume that you use a bomb in the near end to end all the ship's crew's ghosts' suffering. After all that you are then able to finish the level. Hmm .... Im quite uncertain of the story and meaning to this level, I suggest trying harder and putting more time into creating one, this in turn will give you better feedback.

Fun Factor, Gameplay and Difficulty4/10

Same as what i wrote in the story category.

Heh! What a cute level this is.

Level and Character Design 7/10

The level design is quite average and simple in this level. There were some characters that were used from the story levels> that it doesnt really hurt anything but, it would be nice and probably boost up the score for this level.

While on my 2nd play through, I noticed that this entire level was made up mostly of 3 different kinds of material. But all 3 suits well with each other that it produces such a level thats quite nice and pleasant to play in.

Music and Sound Effects 7/10

You can expect to find only a single but constant BG Music in this level. But the Music choice is one of the better ones to be used for this type of a level.

Good Sound effects.

Story 7/10

Fun Factor, Gameplay and Difficulty 7/10

The Gameplay and Difficulty is pretty easy, and its the kind that you have to find switches and jump buttons to progress through the level while dragging along your non legged buddy, the companion cube.

There are a few things that i did notice tho. There are so many places where you can either get stuck or have a hard time pulling your CC through out the level. One of the worst one is that dreaded elevator for the CC, Its quite small and almost too fitting that when you pull it out, it can get stuck there and you could end up spending a good amount of time just trying to unclog it.

The rest are really just minor ones but if you add em all up, the player's frustration can build itself up in the end.

The Funfactor is there, As a player having to experience such a simple a nd cute level makes me smile. And i think if you could those issues that pointed out, the players will find this level more enjoyable.

Challenging!

Level and Character Design 8/10

A modern design of a level. The contraptions you?ve made are pretty cool and that it also made the level have a slight different look compared to others of its kind.

There are not much of the use of sticker and accessory but when I see one as a player, they make quite a good impression. I do notice those pipes and the little butterflies (that seem out of place but I also felt having them there was fine) (Weird)

You can also expect a pretty cool looking Robotic Boss in the end.

Music and Sound Effects 7/10

BG Music and Sound Effects feels a bit lacking, especially in the Boss Battle. When I destroyed the Boss, I felt nothing. a like the boss fight had no life to it. Yeah.. I suggest having some kind of a death scene, sound and explosions all around now that would be great if you did that.

Story 7/10

Story is good and athough it has value, the story is bit lacking as well.

Fun Factor, Gameplay and Difficulty 9/10

Pretty challenging of a level, I really am into levels that offer the kind of difficulty that this level had to offer. It makes me use my skills in timing, sense of direction and as a platformer.

The Sticker switches Mini-game added some value into it, but I also found some of them not working properly (assuming that im supposed to be rewarded with each one of them) There were the 1st 2 star switch triggers in the conveyor belt that gave me nothing also there was 1 in the room full of crates that just turned the lights off. Hmm? Im curious.

Oh and I finished 5th place. This level deserves more plays.

Just a day at the beach huh? No one ever said about Pirates, drinking Rum and a Temple doom eh... hahaha

Level and Character Design 7/10

Quite average in the level and character design department. The contraptions you will encounter are pretty simple and that youve probably seen in many level before but, with that said, you will constantly see a variety of new areas in this level that makes it enjoyable.

Music and Sound Effects 7/10

With variety of areas, it would only makes sense to come up with a variety of BG Music. And i think the creator has done a pretty good job of choosing the appropriate music to every area.

Sound effects are good but i like to suggest having more of it as much as the level can offer. I said that because when i noticed the two girls playing volleyball and that i couldnt hear anything when the ball is supposedly being hit by a girl to get tossed to the other side makes it somewhat empty and lifeless.

Of course the creator manages to use Sound effects in most things, my only point is, why not all things that can accommodate SE right? Just my advice.

Story8/10

The title says "Just a Day at the Beach". Who would have thought that, you would be acquainted with pirates and the sort and help them find their treasure in some Old Temple with Deadly traps and boxy looking monsters? lol!

There is quite a good amount of humor in this level. The Dialogues are funny and some maybe cheesy but that is part of it that made this level more enjoyable to play. Players are most likely to find that nice.

Fun Factor, Gameplay and Difficulty7/10

Gameplay is your typical platformer. And the difficulty isnt much of a challenge. But it was just simple and plain fun you know. And Point Bubbles!!!

So when you have a really easy level what do you make it up with to make it more interesting? Did i not say Point Bubbles? Yes! there were a ton of them scattered all over the place.. It was fun collecting them and trying to make a combo at the same time was even better.

Also drinking Rum was a LMAO for me hahahaha...

Thanks for the review. I guess i've been officially Goosed!
Sorry for the confusion with the sticker switches. The one's on the conveyor belt are really just for show. I thought it made the machines look better. As for the rest of the stickers, there's no mini game. They each do different things. One gives you a hint as how to get bubbles that are out of reach, one allows you access to the bottom of the building, etc.. And as you found out, one just turns off the lights.

I'm currently editing some traps to make the level feel less repetitive at times! I also might make those stickers switches do something in the end!
