			| I dont know how long this problem has been about but I have recently noticed when doing F4F, that levels cant be found when searching for their name. It's not just my level but I'll use it as an example, when searching for mining mayhem, my level does not appear, just the other two with the same name. People have also been telling me that they cant search for my PSN. I have also had this problem when searching for other peoples levels Does anyone know what is causing this and how it can be fixed? | 2009-09-07 21:25:00 Author: Dhawken Posts: 96 |
| It's been going on for several weeks now. I think it coincided with the levels not showing their star rating problem that came with an update. Yes it's annoying, no I haven't heard if they are going to fix it but I can only assume they will. If you do the "find more by this author" your new levels will show up. | 2009-09-07 21:45:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
| It's not a problem on your end, so don't panic. This has been happening to alot of people it seems over the pass few weeks but doesn't seem to have garnished the same attention as when the Stars all dissappeared (at which many levels were also unsearchable). Dunno when we can expect a fix from Mm on this since there isn't the rabble rousing there was before on their own forums, but there is a fix for your F4F issue. Simply leave a simple comment on a level you Feedbacked like "Cant wait fur ur f4f!" and then when they want to do your level, they can use that comment to "Find More By this person" and see your levels! | 2009-09-10 07:03:00 Author: Chaos Posts: 16 |
| I've had this happen with my latest level (both versions) which I had to delete and republish fresh. Searching for the name or through PSN would not make the levels show up. | 2009-09-10 11:05:00 Author: Gilgamesh Posts: 2536 |
| Is this a temporary thing on new levels or is it permanent? I know I've seen it but I was kind of assuming it was some kind of server caching issue, i.e new levels weren't getting put into the search immediately. | 2009-09-10 14:48:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |
| My levels had been published for more than 7 days at the time I was informed they weren't showing up on search (and that I tested it). | 2009-09-10 16:23:00 Author: Gilgamesh Posts: 2536 |
| Spaff has commented on this one and it looks like it is being investigated and hopefully address soon. Heya, you've probably noticed that search seems to be a bit borked at the moment, we're working to get that fixed up as soon as possible! So far it seems that if you publish a new level, your level will not show up in search. Are there any other problems with search that you've noticed? cheers, hopefully that will be back to normal again soon. hold on tight :smileyhappy: | 2009-09-10 18:52:00 Author: Trindall Posts: 297 |
