hi all. this is my first thread here because i just registered to see if anyone can help me with my problem. first i want to say i read all kind of threads about problems with lbp and online gaming, so this isn't a thread i could read somewhere else. here's my status: ps3 shows NAT2 i've tried both with uPnP active and disabling it and forwarding the ports lbp uses (http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/ZyXEL/Prestige600/PS3_LittleBigPlanet_2.htm). i know my ps3's IP, so there's nothing wrong here. and it shows NAT2, so it shouldn't be any problems. i can connect to lbp online and play other's levels, upload my levels and upload hi-scores etc. the problem is when i try to host or connect to some other players. when i join a level someone else is in, i can see the players lag and i says "verifying connection to host" and then a minute later it says that the host left the game. if i host a level, i see msg about a player joining and i wait and nothing happens. i have no idea what's wrong. i tried to connect the ps3 directly to my modem, throught a switch and through a wireless router. all result is same error. as i said, ps3 shows NAT2 and i've tried both forwarding all kind of ports and use uPnP. everytime the ports to the ps3's IP is correctly forwarded. i just bought a new ps3 slim. formware is 3.0 and all kinds up updates are installed. i have no other games to try online gaming with. i have a xbox360 and there's no problems with online gaming with that. any ideas? i've read all threads i can find and most of them is about changing from NAT3 to NAT2, uPnP and forwarding ports. i've done all that, but still getting problems. my connection is ADSL and quit fast, so that can't be a problem. my modem is prestige series 600. hope someone can help me and thanks in advance.

should that be a problem? i mean i tried to connect and host games for maybe 4 hours. could i be that unlucky?

no i haven't, but my internett connection is working as it should on my computer and, as i said, the other online features i've tried on the ps3. it would surprise me if is the cable, but i guess i could give it a try

For details contact the router manufactor. i guess this is the problem. have to read about that error msg

if anyone is interested, i fixed the problem. i tried to change the MTU value to fix the problem, but after doing this my router didn't work. i had to reset it and then it fixed all my problems and i now have enjoyed some online gaming thanks for the help guys.
