Crown Links G.C.JKthree Hole #3 of the winning entry from the Hot Shots Golf Competition. Play Golf in LBP almost as if you were playing Hot Shots Golf! Well right now that isn't the actual title. Currently the real title is LBPGolfNA-Par4: The Crown Links G.C. (LBP Crown Winner!) Reason why I still leave the LBPGolfNA-Par4: is so people who just found about the contest can still search for the winners. and the (LBP Crown Winner!) part I'll remove for when i get tired of bragging But anyway I wanted to make this level as close to Golf in real life as possible. And it turned out quite well, you grab the club while you are with a jetpack and you swing to hit the ball, but since sackboy is so tiny, you have to swing it in circles to build up momentum and time the aim right to hit the ball where you want it. The ball flies up and down slowly just like if you were driving a long shot on Hot Shots Golf. Speaking of which during the course you'll run into familiar faces fromt the Hot Shots Golf franchise (right now there's only 2 though) For those who never seen Hot Shots Golf here's a little video I found starring our beloved Sackboy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeb-wIQeDB8 Now to make things fair, touching the ball kills you (and counts as a stroke) and the ball disappears after every stroke but reappears at the sign at the beginning of each hole. It'll record the # of strokes and at the end of each hole tells your score (Par, Birdie, Bogey etc.) and give you points. There's also Rough and sand traps though i might change how they look and act in the future. And from looking at my high scores (since its impossible to die without cheating...) people try to cheat Now just like Golf (Hot shots or even real life) your not going to score birdies and eagles on your 1st try In fact you might be lucky just to make a Par on your 1st try. This level can be quite difficult to learn. But The good news is I left a key for you that takes you to the Driving Range where you can practice to your hearts content, and to make it a little fun, I added targets on the Driving Range where you can have the challenge of trying to hit them all (I'll post a picture of it sometime in the future) But sometimes problems arise on the Driving Range and you have to Sticker the "Fix" sign to fix it up. Now the design of the level itself is pretty poor, with the only exception of the 1st hole and that was for the contest. But I'm holding off on making the holes look good till after I hit my limit. And if I play my cards right I can fit 9 holes, so that way I can make one level 9 OUT and the other 9 IN. Currently there are only 4 holes but I'm always improving with many more features coming soon such as Water Skipping (since the real water coming soon is not going to work with my golf concept), Rain, Wind, and even a Total Stroke Count (that also shows you the Par total so you can subtract from you total stroke for your score) And to show you how its done (cause I think a video will help people understand how to swing) here's me scoring -6 on my 4 Hole Course.:hero: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQOAyL4gyyg Well thats all there is for now. Ah yes, the golf contest. Your level was pretty fun, actually. Congrats...one of the deserving levels anyway. But honestly, I think it's best for everyone if I leave it at that.

I wanted to give this old level a bump for 2 reasons. 1: Someone found a way out of my level (I'm seeing if I can ask him how he did it, hoping he's not going to be a complete jerk) and got an impossible to get normally high score. (Max possible normally right now is around 25k, he cheated and got 51k, I'd have to have a lot of holes in order for it to be possible to get 50k normally) Now I really don't care about the tags,hearts, plays, ratio of my golf levels that much (since I knew people were going to flame it since I won the competition, I mean the ratio was 1:30!). But I really do care about the scores, cause I want it to be fair, so I'm probably going to republish it as new tomorrow. I think I found the problem on my own (one of the enhancemnt disablers was a little off, and he used the jetpack to sneak through it) But I'm not entirely sure. I was hoping people can go along and test it (I made the changes already) to make sure. 2: I'd like to get back to work on this, since real water isn't going to work out I'll be using paintballs and glass to imitate water skipping for future holes that I made long ago (Too bad Sackboy's spin stat isn't that good on Hot Shots lol) Ironic, that after trying to make that water and shortly after I posted this level here and on youtube, water gets announced...)
