| Hey, earlier i got a email from adam.henry1@hotmail.com - Guess what? That's my email. I clicked on it, it said it could be dangerous so i didn't click open. | It's very easy to make an email say that it came from any address you want, regardless of the actual source. The chances are it's just spam and someone has changed the sender address to make you curious. Delete it, nothing legit would come like that. | Spambots usually send emails with yourself as a sender. They might also use just the beginning of your email, with some gibberish nonexistent host after the @. It will usually be one of three things, which can all be deleted on sight : 1) Random spam. 2) Phishing/scam attempt. 3) Virus/worm. Most of the members e-mail addresses are viewable from their profile page anyway. What you could do next time Adam is to compare your IP address to the senders IP address.
