| You should take the game back to the store. If it's on a laptop take the laptop with you so if they give you another game you can test it right then and there and know if it's the CD or not. | What you could do is, find another PC/laptop. Put the game in, make an image(.iso) of the game (I forgot which programs do this... maybe Alcohol?), and then move that image to the original PC/laptop through a media storage device (external HDD, home network, whatever). Then you get a program that enables you to open up a Virtual Drive on your computer (I'm thinking Daemon Tools, or Alcohol). You mount the image(.iso) on that drive and then the game will run without the physical copy of the disk.
