Watch both shows religiously. The fourth season of Dexter looks to be promising while I think we still have several months before the third season of Breaking Bad begins. Anything in particular anyone wants to discuss?

Did you hear Episode 1 of Season 4 leaked? It was posted on an official website, I hear by accident, and I heard on purpose. It's not there anymore, but it's acquirable. I couldn't resist watching it, and it was very good. Anything in particular anyone wants to discuss? Umm... how'd you rank the Dexter seasons? For me it's 2>1>3

Saw the leak as well. Great stuff. I'd rank the seasons the same way as you (2, 1, then 3), but I'd have to go back and watch them again just to be sure that's right.

It's really close between 2 and 1. 2 has a slight edge, it's more intense, and just better imo.

I agree that season 2 of Dexter was phenomenally intense :eek: and my favorite...so far. I have yet to watch season 3, and I'm wondering why it has fallen from grace... Anyways, the premise of Dexter is simply titillating. Please bring back Doakes

The ending of Season 2 of Breaking Bad left me in shock. We knew it was building up to something, but who could have imagined that? I'm eagerly awaiting Season 3.

The ending of Season 2 of Breaking Bad left me in shock. We knew it was building up to something, but who could have imagined that? I'm eagerly awaiting Season 3. Very true. That show's so insane it's not funny. To be honest, the show makes my skin crawl and I'd go so far as to say it has put me in a semi-depressive state on more than one occasion. Almost as mood altering as Requiem For A Dream.

Almost as mood altering as Requiem For A Dream. Another favorite of mine. The soundtrack and the overall abstractness of it all combine to make one trip of a movie.

I've never heard of Breaking Bad but i BINGE on Dexter when my brother brings his 360 back from college. (I use Netflix.) I've watched the 1 and 2 seasons, so I'm kind of a noob. But I HATED who ever his sponsor was. But i really like what she did when she saw you know who in the cage... (i really hope i gave away good enough info without spoiling anything...) EDIT: also, the theme song (or whatever you can call it) is amazing. I know its long, but for some reason its so cool i watch it every time.

Ahh...okay...I'm glad the series can maintain its shrill awesomeness. Now I'm definitely looking forward to watching season 3...as soon as I finish Battlestar Galactica, another show I'm hopelessly addicted to... But i really like what she did when she saw you know who in the cage... Really? For some reason I felt tremendous pity for "you know who." His innocence certainly precedes his jerkiness in the end...

Yeah, as annoying as he was he's a good character. The last 3-4 episodes of S2 are my favorite, and 'the caged' has a lot to do with it.
