I've been playing lbp with my friend and it was fine until yesterday when we both started getting the "Failed to connect to players" error. I found a way around this by disabling my router's firewall, but i'm a little bit skeptical about doing this. Is there another way to fix this error without disabling the firewall, eg opening some ports? If so what ports do I need to open? I think I know how to do it but I don't know what ports I am supposed to open (i've never really needed to tinker with my internet since recently)

My router is not having any firewalls. Its better to protect your machines seperately instead of your router. If you're having a wireless router though, its better you put some security on it. .

No specific ports? Alright then. All of our computers have firewalls on and the router is secure. Actually, we just bought a new router today so it should work a bit better
