I suppose so long as we don't share them directly, then it won't be a problem. Maybe if you post the way you built the character on forums or an faq page, then there shouldn't be a problem. I guess we'll see though, won't we?

I guess we'll see though, won't we? I don't know whether we will have any options for sharing character outfits, or how moderators plan on checking them. Considering you can freely change your outfit at any moment, it would be a monumental task to keep track of them all. There doesn't seem to be anything to stop you making outfits for your characters offline though, so when your friends come over for some offline multiplay, you can have your sackman don your favourite Doraemon costume, or what have you without any worries. Levels, on the other hand, are much easier to check for copyrighted stuff. From what I've heard, it sounds like they will be implementing a self-policing community with appointed moderators doing the rounds. If your level is unpopular, and obscurely named, it is possible that it could go undiscovered though... Personally, I don't care if people copy levels from games. That means there will be less people competing with me to make cool, original stuff. As for costumes, I agree... it would be fun to dress your little sack man up as various characters, and I reckon we'll probably be able to do it. Actually, I just had a bit of a browse on the web, and Guardian Unlimited have an article about the players themselves becoming the ESRB... it explicitly states that there will be special software tools for quickly browsing level content to check them. Hopefully they will put in combos of items that will allow this. If they were to create 1 option to make them look like a copyrighted character, they could get in trouble. But if they had say several different options when added up made it look like say Mario, I don't think they could do anything about it. PP

copyright? as long as it does not look exactly like the characters and stuff it be fine. look at second live,imvu,superdance online and so on. they have a crap load of copirighted stuff but it does not look exactly like it.

When i was lastwatching one of there demos they said thay hadn't really thought about having your own music, but it is a possibility. They said the music is by The Go Team or something like that (correct me if im wrong please). Anyway i want my sackboy to be Yoda. It woudl look so funny, green ears green cloth, brown dressing gown thing LOL . And a walking stick Ha Ha Ha. I don't think there will be too much trouble with the whole copyright thing. Cos you are just dressing him up like that character not copying it. But i dunno I cant wait!!

Nah it wouldn't because only you would hear it when playing your PS3 because you will have loaded it on. Unless people are thinking of adding music to there levels when they upload them. But i doubt they would have a feature like that. People would rather there own music.
