Like is there a way of making stuff go to things??
also is there a way for an animal to follow another animal?

Uhm.... magnet? You could use some pistons and magnetic switches activated by sensors.... but thats just off the top of my head. as for animal following and animal, just make the animal leading attached to a piston, and make the piston move, and then make the following move a second later, too give the illusions that they are playing follow the leader :]2009-09-04 02:47:00

Give sackboy an animal suit and set the brain of the other creature to follow 2009-09-05 16:41:00

You could fake a magnet using pistons and mag key switches, but you'll never be able to make a real magnet that works on its own.2009-09-05 16:47:00

I've got an idea.

Making a magnet attract:

1. Make two pieces of metal (or any material) and put them next to each other (about as close together as the average magnet would begin to work). These will be the 'magnets'.

2. Make 2 very small thin layer strips of something else and put them inbetween the two 'magnets'.

3. Shrink them down untill they're invisible and connect them with elastic that isn't too tight.

4. Connect the invisible pieces of material to the 'magnets' with winches. Tweak the winches to a really fast speed, reversed and set the max distance to something really high.

5. Put a magnetic key on one 'magnet' and a magnetic switch on the other. Set it to directional and make the area of the magnetic switch to just go out of range when one magnet is pulled.

6. Connect the magnetic switch to the winches.

Now, when you pull on a magnet, the elastic will make them follow each other for a bit ,but when one gets pulled out of range the winch will go to a really big length and will allow the magnets to be pulled quite far away from each other. When they are pushed back together the winch will shorten again and will provide a (sort of) magnetic effect. If it keeps breaking then lower the speed of the winch.

I haven't actually tested this though so I'm not sure how well it will work, I just thought of it.

Making a magnet repell would be a lot easier.

Hey cool! I'm going to try that in create mode!

here is a way i do this i take a circle cut another out and put another circle inside put rockets inside at 8 angles with magnetic switches connected to the corresponding rocket with a magnetic key on the middle circle at a 70 degree angle on each switch and there a one layer no thin magnet that can be shrunk to 1 grid space did you read or skim now? now did you read? is it easier to understand?2010-09-08 01:22:00

Well I'll be dog. That video solves my dilemma of trying to find out how that magnet worked on one of the Marvel levels.2010-09-09 16:19:00

I got a way...but it's not really a magnet...but it works...make something and use an invisible winch to pull it up!2010-09-09 23:20:00
