Holding weapons is no option in littlebigplanet but since i'd like sackboy to use the blades of chaos (god of war) in my level I have to use them in another sort of way. Maybe not holding them and hitting with them directly but are there any other ways he could use these babies? I don't have the gow-pack so i'll create my own, perhaps with winches, pistons, grabbable stuff? Any ideas?

Most people just use large, material-made weapons with grabbable handles. There was a bunch of "Deathmatch" arena-type levels that used this method. More recently, this way of doing things has been used in wexfordian's "Snakes on a Dame" level, which I suggest you check out. As far as Character Enhancements like the Paintinator go, I don't think we need anymore weapons because there really isn't a way that they could greatly expand gameplay mechanics or what we can do already.

@chezhead, read the question As BSprague said, grabbable handle, often with a jetpack kinda works. For an alternative, genious and at times hilarious, alternative, check out coyote_blue's lone ninja series - he has a variety of attacks in that.

There's a ghostbusters level online that had proton packs held off the ground on invisible stiff springs, works well for ballistic weapons, but not so much for mel?e.
