YouTube - I NEED a new processor Guess how long that took to render? 2 miniutes? I wish... 5 miniutes? Not even close... 30 miniutes? Come on, we're on EARTH, not PLUTO. 1 hour? Nope. 2 hours? Yeah... It took 2 HOURS to render this simple 1 second video... I hate this computer...

You thnk THAT'S bad! Heh heh. How wrong you are. On the computer I'm on now It take 6-10 mins for it to start up and open firefox >.< And even then ut's so unstable you can't touch it for another 2 mins. Even then its still SLIGHTLY unstable and crashes. A LOT

Even then its still SLIGHTLY unstable and crashes. A LOT I'm on a fairly fast computer, and I had a lot of trouble with Firefox like that. It would take forever to load up, and then it would crash if I used it soon after. Reinstalls did nothing to remedy the situation. I stick to Chrome, it boots up and works the fastest. Safari is pretty fast too, but it takes a while to load up, at least on this computer. But back on-topic, rendering is usually placed on the GPU, not the CPU. You can pick one up for under $100 that will pack a decent punch.
