God of War project (Including 6 pictures)

First of all, im one of those guys who have never finished a level and always quit halfway through

So once again I was working on new project (Ghost of sparta, The temple of Lahkesis), the level was based on the Lahkesis Temple which is a part of the game "God of War 2". I had the whole level in my head and I had also drawn parts on paper, so I started making it till about 40% of the termo when I found out someone else had done this theme and part already : and exactly how I wanted to make it.. I could easily improve but it was so much work for almost the exact same level that I decided to leave it for what it was. Thanks to a few people I decided to continue working on it so it will be done in about 2-3 weeks. Darn you school!

Here are the pictures of my project: Ghost of Sparta, The temple of Lahkesis

Wow, looks like a really nice level. You've obviously put a lot of work into it; I think it would be a shame to not finish and publish it. But, I know what you mean about starting and not finishing. I have a temple level I've been working on for a long time, but there are so many temple levels that a very good, I keep rethinking and editing it and just haven't gotten around to being finished with it.

Maybe you could add a twist to your level to make it different. Instead of exactly following the real game, maybe add a part or an ending that you wish would have been there. Or, maybe it could be mulitpath: you could have one ending like in the real game, and an alternate ending that a player could choose instead. Or, if possible, it could somehow be a medley of different parts of the real God of War. I've not played God of War, so sorry if those ideas won't quite work. In short, I think that if you took creative license with the original game, you could be different than what's out there and make something new and interesting.

Thanks for taking the time to help, that medley of god of war parts sounds really interesting. Doing exactly the game storyline is fun to recognize but doesn't have the platforming action a level needs. I'll try to stay with the story but add my own obstacels and creatures Thanks for tip
