I just purchased this game and don't know anything about it. All i know is that it fits itself in the center of my 42" screen. Like maybe 15" across? It was so irritating that I had to stop playing. My TV is a 1080p. Am i doing something wrong?

Hit Start. You'll get a a menu of options, including Display options. You should be able to tweak it to your liking.

My TV is a 1080p. Am i doing something wrong? It's more a problem with your PS3 or TV settings. The game will set itself automatically according the PS3 and TV. Is your PS3 set in 16:9 (widescreen) ? Is you TV set in 16:9 (widescreen) ? Is your PS3 set to run in 1080p? (HDMI connection needed or else you automatically fall in 720p. If you didn't check "720p in the Ps3 settings, you automatically fall into 480p) Is you TV set for 1080p? When you have more info, come back. .

When you hit the "Info" button (or something along those lines) on your TV remote, what does it say for screen size. If it doesn't say anything, rather than 1080x720 or 1920x1080, then you have to go to video options on the XMB. Also, you are using HDMI cables, correct?

well I know the ps3 connects at 1080 but the game is only 720. But either way all other games play normal. this one won't

But either way all other games play normal. this one won't The issue is most likely that you have unchecked the 720p option under your Display Settings. Go to Video Output Settings>HDMI>Custom>Check all of the boxes>Finish. LittleBigPlanet should now play in 720p.
