I need everyone's opinion here... including yours. I think a friend of one of my friends had a friend who told him that his friend said that Mm MIGHT be CONSIDERING to POSSIBLY think that MAYBE they should CONSIDER at giving a CHANCE at making a LittleBigPlanet 2, you know, that one game with the muppets? Anyways I sent Mm an email with about 11 song suggestions which I've posted here. I know it's kind of a waste of time, mainly because the only way I found out to contact them was through the Bug Report email. Let alone getting the right contact info are they going to respond, let alone them reading it, let alone them seeing my email buried under 500 emails asking "Whats that song in that one videoo..." So without talking too much, the email I sent them was a little like this: "Here's a list I made and a link to the songs that I thought would sound pretty good in maybe a future LBP title, so I hope you'll be able to give it a listen. Thnx for reading :] 1. Royksopp - Eple -OR- Happy Up Here YouTube - Röyksopp - Eple (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkvXcvb7rkg) YouTube - Röyksopp 'Happy Up Here' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmcPeuf5aXo) I think these songs will be perfect for the happy tearful-yet-triumphant mood, similar to that of Get It Together. Give them a good listen and i'm sure you'll agree. :] 3. Aphex Twin - Weathered Stone YouTube - Aphex Twin - Weathered Stone (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBeGFEMICdc) This gives it the spooky mystic vibe, kind of like Song 2 by Dj Krush. 4. Fatboy Slim - Weapon of Choice YouTube - Fat Boy Slim - Weapon of Choice (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZbckwYY9r4) This is another happy song, complete with the childish giddy quirkiness this list might lack. 5. Aphex Twin - Isoprpanol -OR- Polynomial-C YouTube - Aphex Twin - Isopropanol (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PM9ToD0FTj4) YouTube - Aphex Twin - Polynomial-C (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeAOp9B7OSU) Sorry for choosing so many songs from the same guy, but either of these songs will give it the more intense action gameplay vibe, while polynomial-c gives more of a classic sci-fi thrill, sort of like the MGS4 pack tunage. 6. Flying Lotus - GNG BNG YouTube - flying lotus - gng bng (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqYQGesBtaI) Please don't dismiss this despite the title, because the song is completely instrumental but has a total arcade feel to it. Listening to it will either make u feel like you're playing space invaders or ur watching adult swim [lol]. 7. Cut Copy - Lights and Music (Boyz Noise Remix) YouTube - Cut Copy - lights and music(Boys Noize Rmx) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0yoE4su_ao) This is yet another happy upbeat song keeping the dance vibe similar to Volver, Discontinued, and Cornman. 8. Amon Tobin - At the End of the Day YouTube - Amon Tobin - At the end of the day (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jaRA6nGyUg) This is a more powerful song that sounds like the Gardens Int. track. Pretty under-rated, too, lol. 9. Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar YouTube - Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODd6OGDNWSU) This is another dance song but with a more abstract and deep emotion to it. It may need to be edited, like some of the other tracks do, too. LASTLY 10. Squarepusher - Planetarium YouTube - Planetarium - Squarepusher (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5crdJgQcR3Q) This is another song with a sci-fi action theme to it. I think it might fit very well in lbp, because it has a memorable melody, its long, and doesnt bug people. not my favorite song, but i can totally picture this in lbp for some reason, haha! XD maybe its just me, im weird that way..." Please let me know what you thought of my choices! Thank you. EDIT: Looking at the soundtrack for LBP PSP, I see they added a track by Coldcut and Thievery Corporation! I freaked out as much as I did when I first bumped into the Dj Krush track in the original LBP. Just thought I'd let you know ;D

You have some good suggestions, I have most of these tunes in my personal collection aswell, although i don't know if they would all fit in LBP. I've been thinking about this subject too, this is what i've got so far... A song I've always thought would fit nicely is Panther Dash by The Go! Team. I've listened to it in create mode while running through levels, and it just seems to work. YouTube - The Go! Team - "Panther Dash" EDIT: Good call on Eple by Royksopp! I've had that in my iTunes library for some time. First heard it when installing Mac OS X Panther (in like 2005/2006), and was hooked! Really upbeat and happy.

I really doubt that MM could get the rights to songs by Aphex Twin and Chemical Brothers. Aren't the Chemical Brothers associated with dance music? Also, I have a few ideas, but I'm too lazy to look them up.

Well, GTA4 already has a song by aphex twin (Z Twig), so I don't think it would be too hard for them to grab something else from him. Also looking at the soundtrack for LBP PSP I saw a track by Thievery Corporation and Coldcut, and having been big fans of them since childhood I freaked out the same way I did when I saw a track by DJ Krush in the LBP soundtrack! lol
