I'll put it on my list to check out tonight.

Probably the best way to get people to look at your levels here is to use the "F4F" system (feedback for feedback). That way, if you look at someone else's level and give them feedback they will give your level feedback.

I've just played it and I think it's a good level.

The clock theme with all the cog wheels is nice and well done.

Some nice platforming and mechanical ideas too!
I really like the the platforms that turns very fast for example, and that you must grab in its center.

The thing that I didn't really like are the visual aspect of it.

The materials that you choose are not the best looking and don't really fit well together.
Plus, you put too many bright lights everywhere, which don't look very good.
I think you should try to make it more subtle, with less lights but placed in the right places.

That is just my opinion...
Anyway nice work

Thanks dadaj, lol, but I wanted to give it a kind of twisted metal construction site theme? If you know what I mean.2009-09-06 02:32:00

u welcome... I know what you mean by metal construction site theme
but maybe trying some others type of metal materials, different mix...
Don't know, this is just what I felt

How would I change it to F4F

You click on the "edit" button of your first post, then you click "go advanced", and then you choose "use F4F" near the title!

Ok, just got done playing this. I like it! Had fun.

Okay, a few notes:

Lighting - I didn't necessarily dislike the lighting, but if you're going for a "twisted metal" look, you may want to try bringing down the light globally and shine more different colored LED lights on things - has a cool effect.

Limited paintinator bullets - sometimes I can understand why a creator may use limited bullets for a puzzle, but in this level it didn't seem to fit. It was more irritating than fun to be required to return 2 steps over for more bullets. Personally, I would go ahead and just give them to bullets.

Jumping spiky enemy on top of upgrade removal tool - a bit odd. Would look better if you moved it over to the left a bit.

HUGE spinning wheels - that was a lot of fun to watch. Nice job on that!

Wheel spinning to the left with the text bubble "Jump Over". I would instead have an arrow pointing up to the right. Using a text bubble there looked a bit cheesy.

All-in-all, though, I really liked the style of this level. There were certain aspects of the metal that didn't look quite up to par, but I'm not the best with visuals so it's difficult to tell how you could make it better.

I would rate it 4 stars, but since I disagree with the 3 stars it currently has I gave it 5. I also put a heart on it.

Yeah, I will probably revamp it and make it a bit more appealing to that artistic eye that most of you guys have. I completely agree with most of said things. The reason I put the paintinator with a set amount of paintballs was because it made the level a bit longer, but I guess I could take that off. Thanks for the lovely feedback!2009-09-06 05:01:00

Suggestion - the mods don't like bumping up the thread just to get your level attention. Maybe look for other F4F threads, play they're levels, and give some feedback - and suggest F4F in return. It will also help get better quality feedback, as you can look for levels from experienced creators to get feedback from.2009-09-06 23:05:00

I played your level, and I tought it was awesome! It was a very nice and coggy level to play, I somehow especcially liked those platforms that just go to one side and to the other via chains, and shooting the (what is it called?) on the start to make the cogs spin!.
All the Cogs spinning, made interesting patterns, witch was also fun to look at.

Your Choosing of material wasn't so much good, as I think some things didn't fit together some places, and the robots were a bit out of place, I think.

I wonder about one thing.

1. When you have to use the paintinator to get of the green stuff that jams the cogs, when I travell up with the first one, I can jump up to:eek: the walking path to the last jammed cog, instead of travellig to the other side and get the 2nd cog moving, and then get to the last cog. Is this the meaning, or...

Good level anyway, I gave it :star::star::star::star: and maybe another :star:, I am not sure and hearted it.

PLZ play my level - The Turning Tube (survival Challenge), and be sure to read everything, I have written, as there si some important information about both the level, and my other user, moonwire.

It's been a while since I played this (other than with you but we only got as far as the spanner), I'm pretty sure it's been updated in the meantime. I'll make sure to play it again to take a proper gad about!!
You may want to edit the part where I kept walking off the edge, where the combination of camera angle and objects on immediate thin plane block the view of where the ledge ends.

Is that my sackboy jumping in the photo of the sign?!
