I always rate something 1 or 5 stars. some may think this is "Noobish", but I have a reason behind this... As you know, the best levels have tons of votes for the star count, and yours doesn't really count. If you like it, but not that much and give it 4 stars, It will not make a difference. so I rate stuff eather REALLY HIGH or REALLY LOW. If MM would want to fix this, the more hearts you get (not your levels), the more voting power you get. Does anyone else to the same? Or is it just me?

I only give people the ratings I feel they deserve, based on the criteria that MM set out (Worth Playing, Needs Work etc). Rating a level with one star because there were parts you didn't like or because you didn't think it deserved the rating it already had doesn't seem fair to me. If the whole community has rated a level :star::star::star::star::star: and you decide to vote :star:, thereby bringing the average down a whole star rating, how is that fair? Why should your vote be worth more than everyone else's who has played the level? I honestly don't meant to be antagonistic, but I really don't understand this line of thinking. Why do you have more say in a level's quality than everyone else who has voted?

Yeah... I agree with CheesyMcFly for the most part. I will rate a level 5 if its rated a 3 and I really think it deserves better - but rating a 1 star because it isn't your cup-of-tea seems harsh. I think if you're trying to give a level a "boost" go ahead and rate high, but other than that it sounds better to me to rate what you REALLY feel it deserves.

This is completely wrong. The principle of such rating is to be the voice of the COMMUNITY. Not just you. It also doesn't make any sense anyways. Why would you rate a level 5 stars if it wasn't "as good as it gets". Why would a creator making something "just good" be warrant a 5 stars? this would make his rating go up for no reason. Same applies for the other way around. Why would you rate a level 1 star (complete abysmal rubbish crap) if the creator had any merits in his creation?? And how would YOU like to receive this completely unfair treatment to happen to YOUR level? I'm sorry to put this to you but your judgement on rating here is extremely irresponsable and selfish. If people were using systems as they should + would show the example, the community simply would be better. .
