Imagine my joy last night when, on a whim, I jooked up my dad's webcam to the ps3, and was able to use video chat! I thought "Wow, think of all the cool things I'll be able to use this for in LBP, this'll be great!" So I load up LBP to see how it does, when, lo and behold, the stickers won't work. So tell me, is this Sony forcing me to buy a PSEye, or am I doing something wrong?

Nope, you're doing everything right- sony wants you to buy an Eyetoy. Think of it as a way to actually sell that.

Wow. Just wow. If you're gonna make it work for one thing, make it work for everything...W/e. The PS2 cameras work with LBP and pretty well too, right? And they're much cheaper, I hear.

I'm using my PS2 Eyetoy, it's absolutely fine. I did look into getting the PSEye, but the resolution is exactly the same as Eyetoy, so not really worth it imo.
