God of War Collection will feature both Playstation 3 games running at 1280 by 720 resolution and 60 frames per a second. The collection, which will cost $40, will also include trophy support for the games. "We are excited today to announce God of War Collection," said Scott Rohde, vice president, Worldwide Studios America. "Our fans spoke and we listened; thanks to our partnership with Bluepoint Games, fans and newcomers to the series can experience the epic God of War and God of War II saga in stunning 720p on PS3. This Blu-ray Disc compilation brings Kratos to PS3 even earlier than expected." The collection comes just months before God of War III is scheduled to hit stores on March 2010 for the Playstation 3. I am so getting this! WOOO!!! Good job Sony! Was thinking of playing them again lately but now I'll just wait until this comes out! And trophy support too! I wonder if it'll be one or two platinums...

Additionally, the Blu-ray Disc compilation will bring PlayStation?Network (PSN) trophy support to the franchise for the first time (included for both games). Looking at the wording on that I'd say that two plats is a possability but don't be surprised if there's only one.

?We are currently looking into options to bring God of War I and II to SCEE consumers on PS3; however it will not be possible to release the games this calendar year. We will provide further information in due course.? Doesn't mean they're not coming just that they won't this year.

Looks like I will be importing this then. I'm so unbelievably excited forthis game too, it's a shame it's going to be a later release in Europe though
