Hmm, this happens quite a lot, unreal.

It seems to be when people select 'Quick Play', they can get in to locked levels.

It may well be something else, but a few members here reckon they've either done it, or had it done to them.

I've had a few of my locked ones played. It's annoying, but not as annoying for players who are faced with my unfinished crap! lol

Doesn't this happen because of quick play? same thing has happened to me on all 6 of my locked levels2009-08-31 15:04:00

you can't rate from quickplay.

You haven't got them unlocked on your moon have you? If you publish over a locked level using an unlocked level on your moon, it will be unlocked online.

That's how I unlocked a published level

This has happened to me twice in the last week. I'm working on two different projects codenamed Grout and Underlay, so I published them both locked to avoid the "level failed to load" bug and the corrupt profile bug, but somehow, each level has had three or four plays now. I even caught one of the trespassers as he was snooping around my workbench level, but when I jumped into the level to confront him he simply quit and disappeared. I looked around and found that this guy had been playing around with all my experimental gadgets, which were never really intended to be seen by anyone but their creator.

Since then I have secured my levels from the inside. For instance, if you were to somehow access Underlay then you would find youself in a box, unable to move, behind an "under construction" sign which fills the whole screen. I alone have the sticker to activate the switch that allows me to disintegrate the barriers around sackboy. Must be quite frustrating for these quick play freeloaders, MM censor scouts or whoever they are sneaking around in there.

It's been a while we suspect there simply is a very little time window where your locked level can be played riiiiiight after you publish it.

It's actually a very possible bug and you will notice that you plays will occur only some 5-10 mins after you publish a locked level and then if you leave it there, it will never receive plays again.

Yeah happens to me too, but on the locked back up of my last level I even got a heart. (I'm actually pretty happy about that, the level at the time was only like 10% percent done) But this couldn't of happened from quickplay right?2009-09-02 07:41:00

nope. after you finish a level through quickplay, it launches you straight back to your pod. no hearting, no rating.

im convinced that the theory RangerZero suggested is true. there has to be a timeframe where you can play the levels, because there is no way to heart or rate through quickplay.
