Start with Queen and Deep Purple, journey through through Black Sabbath, Yes, take a trip to Europe with Jon Bovi, try to not be stopped at the duty because you love Iron Maiden and Slayer, threat them of a Megadeth spread with Anthrax and walk through metal until today... Yeah basically some classic hard rock, then metal in every form, and in every age. You must have someone that puts energy in what they play, they play it with a distorted guitar and if they have some technical skill it's even better. But what I really go nuts for is Norse Black Metal 91-95 era and very technical Death Metal

ah, i seem to like a lot of music. but i always seem to end up listening to bands like Brand New, Arctic Monkeys, etc. other bands that i like are Streetlight Manifesto, The Killers, and Avenged Sevenfold. techno music isnt too bad, but i dont seem to listen to it a lot. basically, i like any genre ranging from rock, ska, metal, indie, acoustic... most genres besides rap and country. country music is too repetitive, IMO. i think if youve heard one country song, youve heard them all. it isnt bad music, it just gets a bit boring after a while. and to me, rap isnt even music. its just some dude talking about girls, and living in the hood to a cheesy background beat that plays 200 times in 3 minutes (even though all famous rappers own mansions and most likely have never even lived in what they consider the "hood"). hip hop isnt bad though. there are hip hop songs out there that i like. i wouldnt classify it as rap like some people do.

I like all genres of music. If the song appeals to me, I'll like it. However, I do have ones that are my favorites . . . hip-hop, electro/house, and various kinds of rock (anything from Snow Patrol to Rammstein)

ANY ROCK, but mostly metal, like SOAD... My faveorite song is Deer Dance.... But also I have grwon to liking epic orcistral video game music from MGS and also techno music. Random songs break all the genres and just sound AWESOME. Still alive is one of them.

I like rock, like this: YouTube - Skillet monster music video - best quality on youtube! It's kinda hard to tell, but they're actually a Christian band (half their songs are worship, the other half Christian rock) I don't listen to much music if it isn't Christian music.
