The Frying SpanCaptainCowboyHat
I started this level ages ago, before I started the OH NO!!! THE PRINCESS!!! levels. It's been sitting on my moon, abandoned, ever since. I figured I'd plop down a scoreboard and post it, since I'll never finish any more of it. Have some fun with it while I finish World 4!

Wow, what a neat and enjoyable level! It reminded me of the MM Magician's Temple level with all the crazy emitters going off everywhere, equally polished and superbly designed but with its own unique design and charm.

Thanks so much for sharing this level! I know what it's like to have a level hanging around for ages and not knowing whether to finish and publish it, or just give up. I recently published my Treehouse level which I've been tinkering with on and off since pretty much the release of LBP, to the point where I just had to get it out there so that I could move on.

I'm so glad you decided to put this one out there and tell us all about it, you have a great talent at designing levels and we're lucky to have you providing us with so many great ones! I'm still looking forward to World 4, but this was a nice appetiser while I wait. :star::star::star::star::star: - great job!

Wonderful level as always.
The only problem I found is that on the very last jumping section, I experienced many times the bug for which sackboy sometimes jumps really higher than he should, like when you make him jump with a piston.
It can make the section frustrating since the jumps are really precise and must be well controlled, and you have little time before the platforms disappear.
Anyway 5 stars and a heart.

Very entertaining. Got progressively harder but not long enough to be a chore. Easy on the eyes too .2009-09-01 00:05:00

Even on an unfinished level there's still plenty of platforming goodness to be had with you. Glad you decided to publish, i really enjoyed it!2009-09-01 00:41:00

It was pretty good for a spare level that you just had sitting on your moon, it had some good platforming and the detail was nice as well. Just one thing though, theres something you have to move around so that you can emit a little platform above you, you should put ice on the bottom so that it's easier to move around. I gave it 4 stars.2009-09-01 18:23:00

I agree with what brnxblze said above about that platform. It was kind of tough to move it around. Neat idea though. If you added is some possible point combos, this level would be tons more fun. Still, really great for an extra level just layin around.2009-09-01 18:34:00

First off, thank you for showing this level to us. It was a very fun and satifying level.

I found the visuals the best part of the level. Everything just seemed to look so nice, and it's obvious that you put lots of work into the scenery and visuals.

The gameplay was also great. Although it was mostly based around just one platforming element, it didn't feel repetitive and I liked the part with the machine you had to drag, although it was hard to move the machine around.

:star::star::star::star::star: and a heart! Although it is technically an unfinished level, I had more fun with this then I usually do with finished levels!

Thanks for publishing it, Captain! While it's not as polished as you're OH NO!!! series, there's some great ideas in there and I had fun nonetheless.

Now, if this has been sitting abandoned on your Moon, I wonder what other goodies you've got for us..?

Had a lot of fun playing this one. Anticipation is key isn't it. Very tough timing near the end which made me feel really cool when I finished it. Visually is simple and clean and I like the way you have the wood inset. The lighting is pretty but simple and the focus is all on making your way through those emitted platforms. A great level to play.

I'd agree that bubbles and a few decorations here and there wouldn't hurt but I like it even in it's spartan state. 5 stars & hearted from me.

Good fun! The only thing I'd change is to add some score bubbles right at the start so that everyone starts on the same amount, then have their score chipped away as they die. I aced this first time and was proud of that, but I just sit on the scoreboard the same as everyone else .2009-09-03 21:19:00

That is both a brilliant and easily utilized idea. I will be doing that; thanks!

Just played this and it is a nice little level. As a full proper level I think it's lacking a bit but seeing as it was one that you had just lying around unfinished then it is definitely decent.

Not really on the same level as your OH NO!!! series but still better than 99% of the stuff out there. Nice visuals and a simple platforming concept.

I too agree that some form of points system would help. At the minute it doesn't really have any reply value as it's quite short and it's just the same concept throughout, a few score bubbles would really help with that.

Good work!

Very fun for a somewhat unfinished level. It has nice visuals, fun platforming, and a clever puzzle at the end. I assume you abandoned it to focus all of your time and energy in to your Oh No! The Princess! series, but I'd encourage you to to spruce this one up a bit more. Like other members have said, you could easily improve it by adding some point bubbles and I bet you could do that rather quickly. However, as is, it's still a lot of fun!2009-09-06 17:10:00

I just republished this level with 1000 points to play with. Can you survive with all of them intact?

(I can't!)
