I played it on the Orange Box on the PS3 and must say I really really enjoyed it. I though that the character's were designed brilliantly and the range of classes was brilliant with their different strengths and weaknesses. Only problem was that on the PS3 people use glitches a hell of alot and the game seems very unbalanced because of this. Also, a wider range of maps would make the game better.

One major plus for the game was the visual style. Simply brilliant it is.

Fun game! But better on PC. D: No updates, no real support, horrid lag at times... i don't really like playing TF2 on the PS3. But the game itself is awesome, Valve made a great balance of classes.2009-08-30 23:49:00

I was gonna buy it on PS3 but I heard that they took an update without permission so now they don't get any more ever. Don't know if thats true but I'm sticking with the PC and 360 version.2009-08-30 23:54:00

That's not what happened, Valve just hates the PS3. The PC version is miles better than the console versions.2009-08-31 01:26:00

Plus free updates! FREE updates, and regular ones, and BIG ones!! The community is excellent, Valve supports their games and fans like nobody else in the business. They never take advantage of them. I mean, consider that they announced a sequel for the wildly popular Left 4 Dead and there was massive outrage. A sequel?? how DARE they!!

Where else in the industry would you ever expect to see such outrage? Valve has garnered themselves a special reputation as taking care of the gamers who play their games. And Steam is the best digital distribution client for games the world has ever seen. It's perfect. I could scarcely come up with a better system myself. I'll give you an example - I saw a massive computer crash, had to reformat everything, and couldn't even back up my hard drive. When it came to my games, this is all i had to do:

Download the free Steam Client, tiny application. Put in my username and password.

there, in the "my games" tab, is every game I've EVER bought that's on Steam, even dating back to 1998 with the very first Half Life, and every expansion I ever bought, in stores. That's all there in my "my games" list, and all I have to do is double click and it will download and install immediately, with no installation "wizard" of any sort, all of it's done within Steam. Uninstallation is just as easy. It even remembers all of your achievements, they're tied to your login profile. It's amazing. I didn't lose any stats or progress in TF2 when I re-installed from scratch.

TF2's just awesome. I'm an old hand - TFC is one of my favorite games of all time, I used to play it religiously, every day. TF2 is a worthy successor, and I could think of no higher praise.

Yer love it, got a 6 backstab killstreak just now My record on PS3 was 21 but I think the PC gamers are a bit more intelligent

Annoying thing is I have like 4 dead ringers and 5 cloak and daggers, gets really annoying when I don't have common stuff like the heavy weapons and medic stuff.

1.45ghz PC = Fail to play new games and also a waste of money.....

I could play Half Life 2 on this piece of junk so i thought TF2 would be ok.... but it apparently wasn't.....

I have all of the weapons in the game now. And 1 hat =P But considering not many people have 1 at all I'm pretty happy. Heavy's football helmet btw.

And you should keep some of your double weapons. There's a trade system floating around.
