I need help for my new project

Right what it is is i want to be able to in a way emit gas to a part of a level after going past a certain point as of yet ive had no luck can anyone point me in the right direction thanks2009-08-29 14:53:00

If i understand well, the problem here is that you can't put the gaz at the right place when you add it in the emitter, because of you want to out it where there is already other "objects".
One way, is to not emit your gaz but to bring it at the place you want with a piston that is activated by a prox switch. Place the prox switch in "direction mode" at the place you wan't the player can not walk back in the level.

TaKelow got it, but let me elaborate. To activate said piston in directional mode, you'll need to have a permant. So create a piece of darkmatter far from the actual level, putting a magnetic key switch set to directional. Put an emmiter on here as well. Now make a mag key, put it on a block, and capture it. Put a prox switch at your level's "point of no return" and hook this up the emmiter next to your mag key Switch. Make it so that it emits your key right on top of it, and hook up your switch to the piston.

Of course, Astrosimi is right, you need a one shot switch and the way it says you is a good one.
You can also avoid to have an emitter and put your mag key on a block of dissolve matter that you put just above the block with mag switch. Just set the latter (or actually the piston) in "inverse" mode and connect your prox switch to the dissolv matter with magnetic key.
