Just as the title says, this is the home of fancy art. I'm a big fan, the first one definitely makes me drool for a bacon sandwich. Also Pyramid Head is one of my biggest role models This is a nice one by Caravaggio I saw in the National Gallery in dublin. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b0/Takingofchrist.jpg Jan Van Eyck - The Arnolfini Wedding http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0f/Jan_van_Eyck_001.jpg This one's pretty impressive, seems completely ahead of its time for the early Renaissance. It was also done on a small wood panel, and its ridiculous when you notice the detail. The mirror for example, and the artists signature on the wall. Another thing is that everything in the room has a symbolic role. I think the dog is a symbol of loyalty and the fruit stand for fertility Oh and it is said that Van Eyck was the first person to use oil paints.... I studied all this crap in school, I'm not learning on my own I swear.
