A looooooooong time ago I made my very first level in lbp. I tackled what I think was a pretty hard task for a beginner. Making a working slot machine with 3 rows, that looked just like the ones in real life. The hardest part honestly was making the pictures come one after the other in a rapid sequence like in real slot machines. The trick was to create a long block of pictures. It was made of wood with stickers in between each | symbol and not horizontal like below but vertical instead. [ | | | | | | | ] Emitting one of these from a very high point and letting them fall one after the other. The things kept getting jammed and broken, but eventually I tweaked it into what I thought was a sturdy final product. I built it eventually and it worked to perfection. It could match horizontal rows and diagonals. The problem was, that being a beginner, I made my level impossibly hard and concentrated more on the looks than the gameplay. If you're man enough and want to see the slot machine in action, it's near the end of the level Chaos Casino, by me. I haven't seen a slot machine that works quite like it in all of lbp, and have been too lazy to make a level with just the slot machine in it. I'll try to post a picture of the logic gates I used for it soon.

I played the level, but sadly was killed by that boss fight. I think I made a comment on the level about your awesome dice baddies as well. Maybe add those to this showcase? It could be casino themed stuffs. I am actually off to play Bliss Island right now, so I'll swing by Chaos Casino while I'm there. I thought the slot machine was the one right at the beginning, and was saddened to think it was broken. Now that I know it's at the end, I will have to finish it! Edit: played it, and actually survived the boss on my last life, but wouldn't you know it... The elevator/lift at the end went up without me and I had to quit the level...

i was just thinkin last night of making a slot machine, or adding it to my list of things i want to try. my online is down right now, probably for a while since i seem to be dumb or tech is getting trickier the easier it looks. cant fix that **** router, grr. anyway, when i get back online i will definately play this level
