Shrinking machine

in my new level i am building, i want to try and give the illusion that i have made sackboy shrink. I was wondering would it ruin the level if i left the pistons and winches showing (cause i learnt how to make them really big) and apart from making everything around sackboy bigger is there any other way to make the level feel big without making them run forever? | 2009-08-26 18:00:00 Author: Chuk_Chuk Posts: 108 |
I believe there was a level on the Cool Pages a week or two ago and it was Sackboy climbing around a house. Just make all of the objects large, detailed, and most importantly, scaleable in some way. Generally, i'd say leave the pistons/chains showing if they make more sense in the levels context. Floating platforms don't always make sense (ie: invisible pistons), and neither does a visible piston being used to move a characters arm. | 2009-08-26 19:44:00 Author: Burnvictim42 Posts: 3322 |
thank you. what about leaving pistons and chains showing If you are trying to make the player think that Sackboy has been shrunk, visible pistons and winches of normal size will totally ruin the illusion.
