Making A Bomb Dropper for Bomb survival and zip lines how or they made? | 2009-08-25 09:06:00 Author: Dardar07 Posts: 14 |
Sorry but I hope no-one tells you how to make a bomb dropper because there are too many of those crappy levels out there now. I don't ever want to see another one. Make a 'proper' level instead and try to be a bit more original. | 2009-08-25 09:13:00 Author: mistervista Posts: 2210 |
i will o.o i still need know i wanna make emiter that drops paintballs | 2009-08-25 09:17:00 Author: Dardar07 Posts: 14 |
Put the emitter on the end of a piston that stretches the top of the level? No idea really, but that's how I would do it. | 2009-08-25 09:51:00 Author: Kiminski Posts: 545 |
thanks anyway ^^ | 2009-08-25 09:52:00 Author: Dardar07 Posts: 14 |
To make something that drops anything, make a block of dark matter at the top left of the level and then a couple blocks to the right, make a block of wood. Connect the dark matter to the wood with a piston, making sure to start with the dark matter then connecting the piston. Set the piston to stiff and make sure it has a maximum and minimum that cover the entire level. Place an emitter on the block of wood and tweak its settings so it drops whatever you need. To make a basic zip line, if I'm understanding that correctly, make a piece of sponge, put a directional grab switch on it, attach it to a piston and hook the grab switch to it. | 2009-08-25 12:06:00 Author: BSprague Posts: 2325 |
how about a big huges piece off wood hoping load of emites et at 10 and 20 secs | 2009-08-25 12:49:00 Author: Dardar07 Posts: 14 |
how about a big huges piece off wood hoping load of emites et at 10 and 20 secs I have no idea what you said there. Are you proposing a new idea or asking how to do something? If it is a new idea for a survival challenge, can you elaborate, because it sounds interesting. | 2009-08-25 13:46:00 Author: BSprague Posts: 2325 |
I think they asked can it be a big piece of wood so they can attach lots of emitters.across the top of the challenge room. Yes. A piston can hold quite a large piece of wood when used in this manner. Though using only one huge one may not give the coverage pattern you might have envisioned. You might also have to incorporate some sort of progression logic like one would to multi-phase boss logic to turn on more and more emitters as the challenge progresses. | 2009-08-25 14:12:00 Author: jwwphotos Posts: 11383 |

To make a basic zip line, if I'm understanding that correctly, make a piece of sponge, put a directional grab switch on it, attach it to a piston and hook the grab switch to it. Zipline: Make a peice of material (rubber best) and make where the zipline is, above the zipline a circle of material (probley glass) then behind that on a thin layer put a peice of material behind the circle of material, then get a bolt/motor bolt (motor bolt if it goes up hills) and attach the bolt to the glass(adjust the settings, etc) Now this is the fidly bit, attach a peice of string to the thin layer part thats bolted, then get a peice of grabbable material (any grabbable, shape, etc) and put the string on it, attach a grab switch to the grabbable material and hook it up to the motor bolt. This will work inless the track is on the same layer as the thin layer (it will not be able to move). | 2009-08-25 16:05:00 Author: Adam9001 Posts: 744 |
