Buddha's Lost TempleFr0d0_FragginS79 Sackboy is exhausted by all the survival challenges and races on lbp and is looking for some spiritual R&R... all Hi, I'm still fairly new here, so please be gentle I was recommended to post my level in the showcase thread seeing as that is a nice opportunity for you to let me know what you think of my level and to report any bugs/difficulties/suggestions you may encounter along the way. If you haven't played it before and to avoid frustration I'll give some vital tips so you can make it to the end: - at the point where you drop your Ball of Balance onto the flower you need to physically hang on the rock that says "R1" and then slide it to the right to make room for the flower to pass later on... - the level also has a sticker/decorations removal part. It's crucial you remove it by pressing "o" and not triangle after you picked it up with "x" Hope these tips will help and you will enjoy playing my level. Please let me know what you thought of it... Thanks in advance | 2009-08-24 11:27:00 Author: Unknown User |

I already raccomended the level in the other section, so I will do it even here. The level has wonderful visuals, a nice original story, and some very cool surprise. With a bit of knowledge of Eastern culture, the level is still more enjoyable, but it's fun anyway. It's a 5 stars from me. | 2009-08-24 12:34:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |
Sweet level. But the 3 stars is an absolute disgrace 5 at least it should be. | 2009-08-24 17:04:00 Author: KQuinn94Z Posts: 1758 |
Great! You made a thread for it. Love this level - super clean and cute design, Great characters and I love the spinning chakra (sorry for spelling) area. 5 stars & hearted - thanks for sharing it! | 2009-08-24 17:30:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
Great to see you all liked it! I don't care about the stars... I'm just happy enough it made some people happy who also happen to be awesome creators... I still can't believe creators I think highly off really liked my level, seems so surreal... Ow and Morgana, in Dutch we spell it the way you did as in "chakra's"... I assume from your spelling it's the same in English... how convenient.. ohmmmm | 2009-08-24 23:56:00 Author: Unknown User |
Absolutely jaw dropping. The tree growing scene was one of the most incredible moments I've ever had in this game. ....I'm speechless.......yeah. That's about all I can say. | 2009-09-08 03:55:00 Author: ApellesJr Posts: 282 |
I, too, enjoyed this level. It had some great stuff going on. I played it a couple of days ago, so don't remember all of it, but I do remembering hearting it. Thanks for sharing. | 2009-09-08 04:12:00 Author: comphermc Posts: 5338 |
Wow, just realised I never left you feedback, despite a) Loving this level and b) having played it several times! basically, I loved the art style you had. Realistic yet cartoony. Appealing to both adults and kids. simply superb. Gameplay was great, lots of things to do and many ways to do different challenges..... I can't talk it up much more, I didn't find any problems and I loved every minute of it Obvious 5 stars and a heart | 2009-09-08 20:51:00 Author: Coxy224 Posts: 2645 |
5 stars on a recent replay. You know I love this level since I recommended it. Actually I'm posting to bump the thread into cool levels. It's absurd that a spotlight has not reached there yet. Keep up the good work! | 2009-09-08 21:21:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |
I loved this level. The rain-dance sequence was seriously one of the coolest ideas I've seen in LBP so far! When the tree bloomed, it reminded me a bit of Okami. Cheers | 2009-09-09 22:53:00 Author: Bercilak Posts: 117 |
I love this level. The way you used the egyptian stickers were amazing. Great job, and heart worthy. | 2009-09-10 08:04:00 Author: Unknown User |
Can't say it enough, but it's unbelievable you all liked it so much... Glad you liked the tree part... I wasn't even sure of putting it in at first, cause it seemed like something that could break a lot and ruin the game, but I haven't had any troubles with it... (The Buddha sticker is from the Rag Doll Kung Fu pack btw) I've encountered many issues in making it and I'm amazed that it relatively turned out bug-free... though I don't know why, but all of a sudden a lot of pistons and the odd wobble bolt were acting jittery as if they were lagging (I was just over the halfway point at that time)... replacing them didnt help and some new ones in new parts would act the same and some wouldn't... Also, this maybe is known to most, but if you use a sticker switch, don't use stickers/decorations you had to buy from the ps store, cause if the player doesn't own the rights to them, he can't pick up stickers (already knew that from playing levels since I dont have every pack, but didn't make the connection to creating as well straight away...) Anyhow... thanks so much everyone, I'm really glad my level brought a smile on your faces.... Hope my upcoming levels will be liked as well | 2009-09-10 08:49:00 Author: Unknown User |
I loved this level. The rain-dance sequence was seriously one of the coolest ideas I've seen in LBP so far! When the tree bloomed, it reminded me a bit of Okami. Cheers Have never heard of Okami, but I looked it up and it looks pretty sweet... | 2009-09-10 08:52:00 Author: Unknown User |

Dude! Okami is one of my favourite games of all time! It totally got me into reading Japanese folktales and mythology. Picked up a copy of the Kojiki shortly after finishing it. I've never had a game really inspire me to delve into a body of literature in that way before... | 2009-09-11 02:22:00 Author: Bercilak Posts: 117 |
