This thread has 2 mind tricks. First one________________________________________ This little Jedi mind trick is kinda freaky, till you think about it a little while. Then it's even more weird. Just follow the instructions below: DON'T scroll down too fast, do it slowly and follow the instructions below exactly, do the math in your head as fast as you can. It may help to say the answers aloud quietly. FOLLOW these instructions one at a time and as QUICKLY as you can! What is: 2+2? 4+4? 8+8? 16+16? Quick! Pick a number between 12 and 5. Got it? Lol, I've already heard the second one so I thought of a different vegetable before scrolling down to the question. Te first timme I heard it I said carrot though. How does that 7 one work though, I think of 7 straight away after answering those sums.

If anyone is curious, I think the first one you say 7 because somewhere in the back of your mind you see 12 and 5 and think '12-5=7' So you say seven. Thats my theory. As for the carrot, I think that carrot could be the definition of 'carrot'.

I was so close! I guessed asparagus. wait, wait! I can do this. lemme try again! Okay. second time around, I guesed carrot wooohoo! on the 7 thing, I thought 5 at first, but then thought "that's just what they'll be expecting me to think", so I went to the next prime. 7 That's really cool!

Those mind tricks are really cool. I love things like that. I actually thought up of 7 immediately after reading the last question in the first one, but my answer for the second mind trick was cabbage. Is that good or bad?

Actually for the first one I didn't think of a number because I quickly saw the logical error in "Between 12 and 5". Ha, I saw the same thing. Must be something to do with being a software developer, but I simply cannot accept that syntax. I did think of carrot after a bit of incertitude on the second question though, that was freaky. Also... those statistics look awfully odd. You do know that about 80% of all statistics are made up on the spot, right?

I know how the first one works... You just did a bunch of addition. It told you to think of a number between 12 and 5 2+5 equals 7. Seven. I haven't figured out the second one, that's really freaky... How does 6 relate to a carrot??? Weird... For the first one I thought of 3 for some reason.... kinda ruined it when I looked back at it and realized it was 5 - 12... The secound one I got carrot, though. Same here!!! Only with a 4... This is just downright dumb 7 is generally a person's favorite or most thought about number, and same thing for a carrot. Its like 5 + 5. 6+ 6. 7 + 7. Quick! think of a method of transportation! car most likely. But ps: i guessed 6 and then lettuce.
