ok im still abit unclear about this. ive seen the secret trailer for it in KH2 and ill be mad as hell if sora riku and kairi arent in it its gonna be worked on after FF13 so its gonna be awhile but i really dont want it to star aqua, terra and ven. mainly because i grew atached to sora kairi and riku. so if you have any info on it post it here

The secret trailer in Kingdom Hearts 2 was for the PSP prequel. there is no KH3 announced yet, and with Nomura working on Versus 13, and 358/2 Days and Birth By Sleep still be worked on, I can't see Kingdom Hearts 3 being in any meaningful stage of production.

Sadly, rocksauron's right...it'll be quite a long time before KHIII sees the light of day And the next question is...will it even be for ps3? I hope so, and think so, whenever it comes out, but I just don't know...

all of these other games for PSP and DS are really annoying me. were expecting KH3 and they give us alot of garbage thats not really all that interesting

So much of this. Also, @bambs: I have to disagree with you on the unimportant factor of the new games. For instance, Birth by Sleep is going to clear up a lot of stuff about how the Heartless and Nobodies came into being and stuff. 358/2 Days is the story of Roxas' time in the Organization, which is really cool to some people (like me). Coded, however, is really pretty lame, but since it happens after KH2, it's the closest thing to a real sequel we have at the mo'. I'll just read the plot summaries online.

Nomura's said he hasn't started any true production of Kingdom Hearts III yet. There's still KH: Birth by Sleep and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. I think it could be possibly announced at Tokyo Game Show...2010.

Nomura and the Kingdom Hearts team did say they wanted to take a break from Sora and company after they concluded work upon Kingdom Heart 2; so as to allow them to regroup and come at the characters with a fresh outlook. Which is why we are receiving titles set within the world yet not involving Sora, Riku or Kairi directly. I just hope that he keeps his designs for Sora and Kairi reined in when the team finally does return, as Nomura is in the habit of making some of his designs incredibly ostentatious and effeminate. Whereas Sora and Kairi have always been rather understated(by his usual standards, at least).

Yeah, I know 'Days is before KHII. It's between I and II during the same span of time as CoM and afterward. Trust me, I know these games.

Both 1 and 2 are awesome games. I like the sequel better because of the camera improvement.

Personally, I liked KHI way better then KHII... It just seemed to me that they broke more then they fixed with the second game...

It just seemed to me that they broke more then they fixed with the second game... i thought 2 was way better. the camera was improved alot!. and in KH1 you didnt have limits or even valor wisdom final or master forms either. dont get me wrong i liked it alot but there was some problems with it. exspecialy the gummy ship. it need ALOT of improving
