The Oggler's Lairneonrage0 http://i25.tinypic.com/ir3rmf.jpgTakes off after the All Good mix-of-the-good-stuff that made it's way to one of the First Few Community spotlights in LBPC, The Collector's Dilemma, in the inactive section, maybe, but spotlighted none-the-less. This includes a smart amount of Story Telling, mechanics, and a bit of puzzle somewhere in the middle. This level alone has been remade over and over again, usually due to something going wrong with it before hand, enjoy! all What can I say? Sure, there was only one person that poked me about it, but that was motivation enough, I had actually started getting to proper work on the "Final" try and within 4 Days it was done. There's no prizes or points this time around, it's more linear right about now. Feel free to ask if there really is anything you need that bit of help with, I'm surprised if you do consider asking though, because even the "Puzzle" bit in the Middle should be easy to figure out, given time. Sadly, this is locked, and the key is all the way back in the Prequel, however, it has been slightly tinkered with to make it more bearable. It was truly a big relief to know that this had made it, finished and Uploaded, this also means I can have an easy time moving on to the sequel: "The Wild Side of the Wilderness", it even has an awesome icon already! http://i27.tinypic.com/rk281w.jpg | 2009-08-20 19:21:00 Author: neonrage0 Posts: 284 |
Nice level, I enjoyed it. I'm surprised though because it only has eleven plays. The Good: Interesting traps and design, fun Paintinator battles, great puzzles, surprising plot twist. The Bad: Some decorations looked out of place, visible dark matter, end lacking in music. Suggestions: 1) Have a grab switch operate the piston at the start of the level 2) Improve character design 3) Some elevators would have been better if the pistons were invisible and operated by switches 4) Always hide dark matter, never let it be seen 5) Add music to the end Overall, this was a great level. Suggestions: 1) Have a grab switch operate the piston at the start of the level Ok, that probably would have worked, didn't cross my mind. I'm not sure if you mean the winch or the elevator afterwards, either would work better with it though. 2) Improve character design Now that's hard. 3) Some elevators would have been better if the pistons were invisible and operated by switches Probably. 4) Always hide dark matter, never let it be seen I forget where I put the Dark Matter myself.
