Aussie Release Date

Anyone know of any new regarding the LBP release date for down under? So far, I have only heard of USA and UK dates.

Chances are it will be after the UK, because according to every marketing team ever, the Aussies just love to wait. In all reality, I hope it's not more than a couple of days afterward.2008-09-12 04:36:00

with worldwide movies releases though we always get it first before USA and UK

No, we pretty much always get movies much later than U.S, and either before afetr or same time as UK depending on the film. If it's worldwide release, we get it slightly before, because of the time difference. Technically, New Zealand wins.

As for games, we usually have a similar release date to Europe, and every now and then when we're lucky, we'll get a game a little earlier.		2008-09-12 07:38:00

No idea, but I'm pretty sure it would be at the same time as the US release date...

Still waiting to see if we'll get any pre purchase goodies. The guy at Chermside JB is contacting Sony Aus for me to see if they will be doing anything here, I will post when I hear anything. If not I'll proably get it from Play Asia.

Don't you worry about the delay Muttjones - even if it's a few days, or even a week, that won't stop you producing the most amazing levels ever. This shouldn't be race to see who can get levels posted quickest, but to see who can produce the best levels. Sure, if the Aussie market gets LBP after the rest of the world, then SOME people will have got a jump on you, but I can guarantee the published fan-made levels in those first weeks won't be anything to worry about!2008-09-12 09:34:00

for any movies that have the same release date, we get it first because of time differences. We are both ahead of USA and UK but New Zealand still beats us.		2008-09-12 14:00:00
