guys...we all know that feudal japan was friggin awesome....and we all know that one of the things we all love about feudal japan was the shadowy creatures known as ninjas....but come on ladies and gents...what happened to the honorable samurai warrior? sworn to uphold the honor of his family and that his sword would always strike true.. i go through cool pages so much and the most ive seen is ninja training levels and ninja story levels (loved shinobi moon series) but come on fellas...where is the love for our most honorable feudal warriors? TL;DR mostly all i want is someone to make some really awesome samurai series in LBP or if there are already some good samurai levels then please post them here with the creators PSN as well (screenshots couldnt hurt) so i can search them up and try them out.... please and thanx in advanced

Samurai, eh? Everybody picks ninja because they are the running and jumping and trick kind of warrior. The basis of LBP. Making a Samurai level would be difficult, There isn't a 'sword power-up' that can be used to do challenges like chopping and fighting. I know little about Samurai, were they as ... 'acrobatic' as the ninjas?

To be honest, neither ninja nor samurai had very pretty histories... highly romanticized. In their later years, Samurai had full legal freedom to slice open anyone that looked at them the wrong way. Anyway... er...I'd love to see some samurai action.

Well since the History Pack had Samurai stickers, and more Asian stickers.... a Samurai level won't be too far away. But speaking from a Historical view.... Ninjas were not warriors, they were more like spies and assasins. And Samurai's didn't really fight to honnor their family or for justice. They just killed people for money.

What happened to the samurai? I'll tell you, the ninjas did their job and eradicated them. =p In all seriousness, I agree with you, seeing some samurai stuff in LBP would be pretty cool. Also, ninjas were farmers and the like who were tired of what the samurai were doing to them (the man keeping 'em down, basically) so they trained themselves in ninjustu using tools based on the implements they used on their farms. The only reason ninjas were ever around was to fight the samurai. True story.

I think you'll find that's just armour. Or you're thinking of sumos. I'm sure samurai were in shape, either way.

I meant to do a feudal series for the longest time. I made many things for it back in January and December, but never made a level out of it - everything was so therm heavy and I was uninspired for awhile with the idea check out the object demo level called "Samurai Stuff Beta" under my PSN for some cool stuff. An ox drawn cart, a grieving woman, a warlord boss, a house, a golden buddha, and a few horse models. All will make an appearance someday when I pick up the GOTY edition down the line.

Vikings would pillage, kill, and rape you, and that's why the Vikings were the best ever. That was pretty much the status quo throughout history. Concepts such as chivalry etc. are largely romantisised ideals. Vikings are just the only ones that got the rep for it.

(Viking Speak) didnt the show DEADLIEST WARRIOR do a bit between a viking and a samurai? im pretty sure it did and it showed the samurai SMOKING vikings ***...they can take their rape and pillaging and shove it!...samurais always slice and dice into my heart somehow....no homo and as for volunteering i would love too...but if you've checked my levels all im good at is recreating pixel art and even that has its limits...so sorry as much as id love to make a samurai level all i could probably do is make up the story for it....id need a team to help me make my vision into reality
