I sit on the couch, dim the lights, put on some hardcore music (usually some Dance Gavin Dance, A Day To Remember, and some Emery), pick up a nice cup of tea, and get to work. It's like Zen for me. 2009-08-19 02:25:00

I generally get out a small chair and sit on the floor while my gigantic TV towers over me.2009-08-19 02:48:00

I usually sit in my small room on my bed with my labtop on the end, and a Plasma TV is on a stool, next to my drawer.2009-08-19 02:56:00

If I'm on my PS3, I sit in my epic chair, with a small fan blowing on my to keep me cool and usually a beverage (I'm addicted to Game Fuel at the mo&apos within easy reach. If I'm on my PS2 or GameCube (Best. Consoles. Ever) then I'm in my room on the floor with a couple pillows behind my head to keep it comfortable. Generally I just listen to the game's BGM unless I'm playing something like Burnout of LBP. Then I bring in my own sounds.2009-08-19 18:46:00

Reclining computer chair tilted back to the edge of the bed drink and M&M's to my left. Notebook and keyboard in front. 46" of glorious HD goodness staring back at me from about 3 feet away.... love it!2009-08-19 19:03:00

I have a 46" LCD and I sit on my couch which is more than double the distance away. Amazon.com has a great chart on viewing distance in their television section. Of course it boils down to personal preference, but my eyes would melt that close. 2009-08-19 19:17:00

When I'm playing on my PS3, I usually just lay down on my bed with the controller in my hands near my slightly small HD TV. Nothing special about it really.2009-08-19 22:30:00

In my couch, a couple of meters from my 37" HDTV, coffee in my trusty Wallace and Gromit mug, curtains closed, and a look that says, "Do. Not. Disturb. Me."2009-08-20 17:22:00

I used to relax on a nice leather couch in the basement, facing the screen coming from my projector the size of the wall. With some kind of orange soda at arms length. Then we moved.

I used to sit down at the foot of my bed and play on a 20" old tv. With some kind of orange soda at arms length. Then we moved.

I used to recline on my recliner in my new basement while playing on the same projector.....but the wall wasn't as big as before. With some kind of orange soda at arms length. New basement included mini fridge, dj station, and mini bar. Then we moved.

Now I game in my "entertainment room" which used to be my room but wasn't big enough to hold both my bed and recliners. Now I'm about 4 feet away from my crappy old 20" tv trying to get the full experience of the PS3. (Not working too well ) I'm still in the market for buying a decent sized HDTV. Once I get that, I'll be the happiest person ever!.....With some kind of orange soda at arms length.

This all happend in the time span of 2 years lol.

I don't think I'm melting my eyes? I stare at computer screens all day at work too so I could be messing up my vision. Guess I'll have to look into it.2009-08-20 18:24:00

PC I sit cross legged on my leather chair, the elbow rests aren't padded so my left elbow (keyboard hand) has a thick layer of skin now :S During podcasts I always have a 2l Dr pepper

I find anywhere to sit (i.e., plastic chairs, sofas, barstools) first. If there isn't anywhere to sit, I usually drag other seating variants into my family room. I adjust myself to get a good view of my 48" HDTV hanging over my PS3. Oh, and there's usually some sort of fizzy drink around (preferably, Coke )2009-08-21 21:10:00

I take a chair, and sit really, really close to my giant sd tv.
....and then I play a game.

Sometimes I can't decide what game to play, though....

If I'm playing something alone (like my baseball game) I would first turn on some music on my computer (it's only a couple feet away from the TV/PS3).

Then I sit on my couch and play.

This is all in my room by the way.

And. . that's it. o_o

Well seeing as I share my consoles with my brothers, I switch rooms a lot, so I'll give the low-down.

There's PC gaming in my room. A hard backed folding chair with a slowly breaking wicker seat is all I have there, but it serves its purpose, and I usually sit with the chair pointed half-way between my PC and my TV, my eyes flicking between both.

There's laptop gaming in my room - I lie back on my bed, back against my head rest, perhaps a pillow or two for comfort, laptop...well...on my lap. Pretty much the same in my bro's room, except he has a folding sofa bed.

There's PS3 gaming in my brother's room. The aforementioned sofa bed makes for very comfortable gaming, especially with the quite large, HDTV screen it;s pointed at. His nice comfy, cushioned swivel chair will suffice if the sofa bed is taken.

PS3 gaming in my room is a different matter. My tiny CRT TV is too small for me to play with my back against my headboard, and I'm too close sitting at the end of my bed, so I opt for an exceedingly uncomfortable cross-legged middle-ground.

Then there's the mother of all gaming experiences. At around 6 feet corner-to-corner, our projector room is a brilliant ride, with 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound, pounding bass emanating from the subwoofer and an l-shaped leather seat with the most ridiculously comfortable padding...oh my...it's heaven.

Then there's the maternal grandmother of all gaming experiences. On certain occasions, we move the whole sound-system and projector through to another room, and a home-made roll-down canvas and projector stand turn a six foot screen into a 30-foot screen. A screen so large you have to tilt your head to see the corners. So big, Sackboy's head could crush cities. So huge, that Quetzalcoatl himself would be proud. That, my friends, is how I game.

Lol, no, it's not bricked. Not after sending it away three times and receiving a brand new one anyway. I just never hardly ever play it anymore unless there is an xbox exclusive that looks sweet.

Sounds...expensive.
You sure you want to reveal all that? Especially as some of us know exactly where you live?

I get my computer chair, roll it right infront of the 16" tv in my room and sit on it. I would sit on the end of my bed, but then I would be too far away to see what i'm doing!2009-09-04 21:39:00

Blimey! My set up seems rather small in comparison now In fact I have had an idea for a thread from this Anyways...

I game about 3 feet away from my 26" TV with the volume turned up really loud and just enjoy the experience
