LittleBigMoviePark NEW 3 Pictures!

Archive: 15 posts

EDIT!

I've decided to make a level that contains a lot of recognisable movie sets and characters, that way i've got a lot of different themes and sorts of platforming. One of the main reasons I'm gonna do this is because I won't get bored of making the same structures and using the same material over and over.

So tell me what movies you like and i'll put em in.

Movies that are gonna be in so far:

- Charlie and the chocolate factory
-
-

- Kill Bill vol 1 V
- Saw V
- Harry potter V
- James Bond V will be used later in the level
- The Simpsons movie V will be used later in the level

First pictures are here! Guess which one belongs to which movie

Actually Doctor Who I would love to see, making the T.A.R.D.I.S. would be really interesting given the size difference between interior and exterior. LittleBigDaleks also!

Trouble with this type of level is that it would require a lot of different materials.

Hi and welcome.

I wish you luck with that because it sounds very ambitious and will probably eat up thermo like it's going out of fashion. You may have to split it into more than one level but I'd love to see it completed.

As for my favourite movies I like Action and Western the best. Virtually anything with Clint Eastwood or Arnold Schwarzenegger would suit me.

I also love the Tony Jaa movies : 'Ong Bak' and 'Warrior King'.

I can't go without mentioning James Bond either. My favourite being 'Live and Let Die' with 'Roger Moore' and any of the 'Pierce Brosnan' ones.

There's also a 'Hong Kong Legends' film I think is great called 'Naked Weapon'.

I bet you wish you'd never asked now LOL.

If you can fit all that in I will be very impressed.

@croissantbuncake: using lots of materials does almost nothing to overall thermo - use as many materials as you need. It's a big fallacy that you need to stick to a limited palette for technical reasons.

Also, tardis would be interesting. Could be done with demitters - I really would like to get my teeth into something where an entire scene is demitted and a new one takes its place right in front of your eyes

Blade Runner in LittleBigPlanet would be too cool for school. I'm sure there are a million Blade Runner levels already, but I've never actually thought to search them out...2009-08-23 09:08:00

Pirates of the Caribbean, King Kong, WALL-E or maybe Finding Nemo for an underwater part.

Psycho, 300, Sin City and Tim Burton films have had great levels based on them but they work well in LBP so you can do your own parts .
