Well, I don't have a credit card, and I'm sure alot of people don't either. And being un-able to buy the DLC's is quite upsetting :{ Seeing that a friend of yours have uber cool gear, and you do not (Not saying that LBP doesn't have uber cool gear, anyways) as you just started or something. Ideas of what you could make: - Sackzilla (I'm sure that's been made? If not, free idea ;D) - Horse sack (Like the ones used in Dramas) - The Astronaut one, again! - Deadspace Issac costume (Though, it might be copyright and you have to sell it ;- - Mecha Power Armour (Just any old Mech armour will do, none from any games) - Anime expantion (Anime eyes, etc.) Just a few ideas, Message me if you like them ^^;

they took the Solstice and Liberty off long ago, and there were more free temporary costumes too. And Sackzilla you get for ace prizes in a certain story world (can't remember which ones atm) If you wish you can always check my "Discontinued and Upcoming DLC Museum" the upcoming section is a tad outdated but the discontinued shows which ones were free. And there was also that bumblebee (insect) spied on fixed corrupted files that people sent to MM

I wish the V-Day pack was still there! Free or not.. That, the MGS pack, and the Festive goodies are the best DLC ever made for LBP. IMO.

They just care about money... Can you make a game like LittleBigPlanet without any money? You need to pay for your staff, licenses, all of your equipment, etc. Money isn't all that they care about, it is what keeps them going though. The fact that they release free DLC on occasion is surprising to me, but it shows their generosity and compassion towards fans. Money is what allows them to keep making great content and improvements. Would you rather pay for the Metal Gear Solid content, or not have it at all, because that is basically what it comes down to. If they didn't charge for things, they wouldn't have bothered making them. Everything they create takes time, money, and manpower.

Well, it's not that I hate them, it's just I don't like them enough to fork out the money for them. I have all the unbranded ones though (I wish i'd bought that valentines day one , but at the time it was FAR too expensive and they didn't say what came with it )

You don't need a credit card, you can buy a PSN card from a video game store or something. These are still currently unavailable in Europe due to all of the differing currencies and exchange rates, which made the pricing for Sony rather difficult. As one could easily purchase cards from anywhere within Europe and pay naught for it due to the exchange rate. However, I believe Sony has taken steps to remedy that of late... Licensed costumes are rather pricey due to the fact Media Molecule must pay to use copyrighted material, yet many of their in-house packs/costumes are rather reasonably priced. I find it strange that many people in general seem to complain(not the original poster - just to note) about the prices of costumes/packs. Especially considering the game can be picked up for something like ?7-15(?) here in the UK. Media Molecule are trying to recoup their losses through DLC, which shall allow for them to put the money back into expanding and developing the community. They are not simply sitting around and twiddling their thumbs day after day.

Well, you can't expect MM to make their DLC for free because you or other people don't have a credit card. Infact i think MM has given us lots of stuff for free (leprechaun costume, sackstatue, druid costume, creator pack 1) i don't know any other developer who gives so much stuff for free. misty.

Well, you can't expect MM to make their DLC for free because you or other people don't have a credit card. Infact i think MM has given us lots of stuff for free (leprechaun costume, sackstatue, druid costume, creator pack 1) i don't know any other developer who gives so much stuff for free. misty. I agree, no one ever THAT generous. Mm is even generous enough to even let us play the levels with it in them! How could you guys say Mm only cares about money!? You guys are lucky to not get some error message telling you "The Metal Gear Solid pack is required to play this level." Heck, you guys can play the MGS levels if you'd like! How can you NOT appreciate that? If you want the costumes, I have to ask: Why? It's just costumes, they don't enhance you in any way. Some may come with Stickers, but what's so important about them? They can help you in create, but I see alot of people taking picture of a sticker and make a cutout of that. I bought the DLC because I enjoy the stuff I get in them, I like the stickers, and the costumes, and that they deserve every penny for making these costumes possible. Premium DLC is better than nothing.

If the astronaut won't be free forever, I wish they'd at least make it free for the first week, then cost money from thereafter. I don't see why they wouldn't do something like that... If they released the valentines day pack again for instance they'd be swimming in money and we'd be happy, everyone wins lol.

I think there is the MM T-Shirt, Valentine's day minipack, Christmas pack, Chinese New year's costume, Astronaut Costume, Lepechaun Costume, Druid Costume, and Sacktue of Liberty Costume. Is there anything else?

There's a list on LBP Wiki... of the limited time stuff.....but it's really out dated..... I actually think the whole wiki is outdated... i can get more information on this forum than that wiki! Also you can get the Sackzilla costume for acing the City? levels. I think LBP works more like a micro-transaction MMO. Because you have people paying for these content you are able to have the MM team monitor the community and servers and add stuff in every once in a while. Acturally..... it IS a micro-stransaction MMO. You're online... with massive amounts of people, and you can play multiplier to up to 4 players!

They give us enough free stuff! You get a ton of costumes and everything else without additional dlc, you just pay for any extras that you want. And they already give out a free costume on holidays as a present

I think they should keep the limited items in the store but at a higher price. Most people would probably just wait until the price is lowered or they're made free again though, it seems like a case of wanting something because you can't have it

I agree with most of the people that have posted on this thread. We get enough free costumes, like the druid and sacktue of liberty etc... DLC with new tools, materials, music and stickers I don't mind paying for. I'll only purchase a costume if it comes with a pack like the monster kit.

I don't think so lol if they just care about money they would make us buy all the DLC The fact that they do give us free DLC's that hold such a quality as the paid DLC's shows they don't just care about money. Besides, they have to make some profit off their work, we could say goodbye to any future projects from MM if they didn't.
