Apparently Mm have hinted that something big will happen on August the 18th! With the online create beta still in full swing my idea of this August 18th thing is that either the online create open beta will come out or the full online create will come out! What is online create I hear you ask! Well online create is when you can create with a full party of 4 from people on your friends list, so now you and your friends can make the most uber awesome level ever, or the biggest EPIC FAIL ever, your choice. Please leave feed back no what you think the 18th might hold in store for us!

Well it definitely wont be costumes, if I remember right someome posted on Mm's twitter feed saying that he wanted to sell he's copy of lbp because all they are releasing is costumes, to which Mm replied "At least keep your copy untill the 18th" I don't want to get my hopes up either...but I cant help it

At the end of the day it's gonna be an announcement. Which means whatever it is isn't coming for at least a fortnight (according to my high tech guestimator). The LBP rumourmill works in the manner of hints->pre-announcements->announcements->release dates->delayed release dates->actually something happening (Maybe). They love how much a tiny hint gets everyone so excited. I've given up caring about every little hint and "leaked" piece of info. When I know a product name, contents and provisional date, I'll get excited. Unless it's online create, 'cause frankly I couldn't care less.

If it's true about the comment about costumes and MM's response to it, then I'd say it's definitely an announcement for a new level/creator pack. I'm hoping it's the full details of what comes with leerdammer or whatever it's called and the release date. I doubt it will be a priced DLC pack since we just got the History Kit.

Of course tomorrow announcement isn't the GOTY edition. It was already announced and Media Molecule said tomorrow's annoucnement is a "GAME CHANGING THING". This means online create or anything that would influence gameplay like a new power up, tools to create ,etc .

Guess you didn't listen to the Mm podcast then Rustbukkit because in that they said the thermo will never be increased because it's too difficult to implement or would cause them too many problems. They said if creators want bigger levels they'll just have to split them up into 2 or 3 levels as they did with the story mode. It's all very well them saying that but they had unlimited levels to work with whereas we only have 20. If we then want another level we have to delete an existing one. Don't say set up another account either because I don't want multiple accounts floating around. I just want to be able to use the 1 I've got and for all my levels to be together.

Having 50 levels on my moon is no use whatsoever if the file gets corrupted again and they're all lost. We also need more room for published levels. More importantly I want to know when we're getting anything useful. I'm sick to death of all the stupid secrecy. Just tell us for god's sake. ( That's aimed at Mm by the way )

I think more space for levels on the moon is fantastic news. It means I don't have to faff with purely online storage with all my WIP, deleting files on my moon, then copying different files from online onto my moon, then editing the republishing again then pulling back the other stuff I may want to edit. All my stuff is on my moon and therefore in my archived backups on my PC, exactly where I want it. No more faff - Nice, simple, cover-all solution to backing up in one easy step

To expand on what i said before they're meant to be changing the save system completly so that it allows a LOT more stuff to be saved. They're making the saves work the same as DLC does - and DLC isn't limited at all unlike normal save files. So Mm should be able to set the limit instead of Sony They're also making it so you can back-up save files and levels too by selecting an option in the menu - this is because backing up saves is meant to be more complicated with the new save system so they're giving us this option in the menu to make it easier for us. This is beta stuff though so noone can be 100% sure it's going to happen, there's still a chance that a problem will come up (I hope i don't get told off for this xD) Pssst Dexiro.... There was something called a non disclosure that you agreed to by participating in the Beta. Someone said 6pm GMT ... Dunno if they actually mean GMT though... Sony's a worldwide company, so I wouldn't be surprised for them to list an event's start time in GMT, since I believe the announcement is going to be at a Sony event. ... which would mean we have just a little over 4 hours to go. Assuming that's the MM presentation start-time and not just the event start-time. I don't know the actual details of what's happening today or where.

Lol, only by the jobsworths i should think. The new system's been mentioned in the podcast anyway so I wouldn't worry too much, it's nice to have a more detailed explanation though, thank you! Backing up my levels has been a very recent headache of mine, they must've heard me moaning! Ahh sorry, I didn't realize that portion was mentioned. I just don't want Dexiro getting in trouble for going into all the detail or mentioning other bits. I think they have heard everyone's moaning!! Some really really cool stuff coming!!
