Wii SW The Force Unleashed Video on Kotaku (http://kotaku.com/5048014/new-force-unleashed-developer-diary-covers-wii-version) ****, Force Unleashed actually looks alot more fun to play on the Wii than on PS3. I actually bought the book, because I'm more interested in the story, but if I had a Wii, I doubt I could have resisted buying it on that console!

Yeah, it does look fun. I'm torn on the Wii; the games that look good look incredibly fun and offer a new type of gameplay, but there's so few of them.

Yeah I agree the wii version does look good also, but I will still get the PS3 version.

Yeah, it does look fun. I'm torn on the Wii; the games that look good look incredibly fun and offer a new type of gameplay, but there's so few of them. My thoughts exactly. Luckily, my PS3 gives me much love so I'm not sad about a few games being better on other consoles. If I end up with some extra cash, and I have a REAL craving to play some Wiimote fun games, I might get a Wii as my second console, but that would be a first for me! Oh wait no, it's true, I did still have the NES when I (or rather my mother, I was still just a kid back then!) bought the Sega Genesis. But then I had none till the PS2... OFFTOPIC, ok so yea, I'll probably end up buying the PS3 version as well, but I'll finish the book first, then play out the story in it's full gaming glory! :arg:

Wow, I guess i'm in the minority that thought that looked terrible. The wii cant handle the graphics, so they just made them bland. The lightsaber looks like crap, and he isnt holding it in the cool way he does in the PS3/X360 versions, and you can just tell the environments are so limiting, even in such an early level. The wiimote/lightsaber is a gimmick. 5 moves, not fluid motion. They should have delayed the wii version until they could add the new 1:1 ratio controller they announced at E3. Then it would be cool. All this version is going to give you is carpal tunnel from doing the same moves all the time. The only cool thing about the wii version is the VS mode. Even that looks like it took a worse graphics hit than the regular game.

I own a Wii...and it can be a good party system to have... but unfortanately the shovelware dominates its library. Nintendo in its goal to capture the masses hearts turned its back on the gamers that made them who they are. I spent the last couple of years defending this...I had no idea it was going to effect the industry as much as it has. Spore for example. They have dumbed down the difficulty on amazing games like Super Mario Galaxy just so any mentally handicaped person(no offense) can play it. This new approach is a disease that is infecting many developers because they see that the Wii prints money. So please I beg of you...do not help Nintendo kill the industry they once saved... -End Rant

That ****** me off about the Wii. What they originally promised us, i.e. 1:1 motion control, we now have to pay for another controller to do. Couple that with the growing disparity in the graphics between it's next gen competitors, excessive shovelware and lack of decent games, and you have a lousy console. And it started off so swell. Why does everyone have one? Last decent Wii game was Smash Bros. which ironically, I'm still playing, often instead of my PS3.

Well I agree that it sucks that we have to pay for 1:1 motion control its not a completely different controller. Its just an adapter they have that you plug into the bottom of any Wiimote. And the pricing isn't unreasonable. You can either buy it separately(Not sure on pricing) or you can get the new Wii Sports which will have the motion plus adapter bundled with it for free.
