What kind of music do you listen to?

So. What kind of music do you listen to on a regular basis? Do you like certain music just for driving, as opposed to just lounging around? Do you appreciate music for what it is, or do you acknowledge it as a filler so your life doesn't have to be quiet?

Personally, I love listening to downtempo electronic music while I'm just sitting around. It calms me down more times than none. Being a music major in college, I go head over heels for classical music. I could ramble on for days about how I nerd out to Stravinsky, Shostakovich, Mahler, and so many other composers, but that can be saved for another time, or never . As for driving though, I feel like JET is the perfect band to listen to while driving, thought I can't say that absolutely.

I can safely say that I appreciate music for all that it is, and no matter what, I'll give anything at least one chance.		2007-06-30 23:22:00

I like a lot of stuff. I like Radiohead, White Stripes, Gorillaz... Doesn't matter what kind of music while I'm driving, although I feel like I need to speed a bit more if techno is on for some reason. LOL!

I don't "like" any music exactly... but i don't mind listening to everything, except screamo >> I mostly end up hearing asian pop music and rap... o.O not my choice but that seems to be what i end up listening to a lot i nthe car and stuff.2007-07-14 19:25:00
