Bouncing Beavers!CrumpetColey
The Beavers back, and he's created a new mini-game!

Just a quick little mini-game, once again based on my LBP Mascot, Senor Beavor, and sort of inspired by the Meerkat Kingdom.. The idea is to get to the top as quickly as possible by jumping on the heads of the Beavers that pop up and launch you into the air.

And like my last level, I included a jukebox, this time containing all the music available, just to make things a little more fun for you.

I apologise that the pictures aren't that useful, but it's kinda hard to take a photo when you're flying through the air.

Anyway, I hope you guys like it, and be sure to leave feedback and whatever level you want feedback in return for, and I'll be sure to get round to playing it. Have a nice night LBP!

Ok, well I subscribed to the thread so if it is still getting posts in 2 weeks then I will remember.

You are lucky. One of the last people to get a moleynator post in their thread. (Until I get back...)

Hey Crumpet

Really liked the level, thought it was cute and fun, and different. I think I've got the top score! My only criticism is this (and it's not really criticism) but maybe a couple of obstacles that you have to bounce over/around would make it slightly more challenging, and I wanted it to carry on when I got to the end, so more, more I say! Also, I think you should just pick the music you want for your level rather than letting the player choose, I think far too many levels do it, and that you should pick the music that you feel best suits your level - I suggest something cute and bouncy! Good work

I was going to add obstacles, but I decided that given how random the launches from the Beavers can be, it may cause a few problems. And I was going to make it longer, but I somehow got talked out of it. Besides, I like to think that this is one of those levels that'll you'll like to play again anyway, sort of making the length a little more meaningless, so to say.

I only use the Jukebox in Mini-games, I do use My Patch in my other levels as it best suits it.

Thanks for the Feedback, any of your levels you want me to play in return?

Hey just played your minigame. I kinda liked it, it's a very simple concept but because the level ain't too long it doesn't become annoying and repetive.
If you make another one similar to this one, try to add some extra stuff but try to keep the jump momentum going.

Pros :

- Simple fun
- Short
- Had no technical problems during my playthrough
- Choose your own music

Cons:
- Maybe a bit too simple without extra stuff added into the mix

Overall I liked it. If you can find some spare minutes, try this minigame.

If you find some spare time you may give feedback on one of my Twysted Tales levels, TT3 iis my latest release.

Thanks for the Feedback, I'll be glad to play the your TT levels. Afterall, it's easier to get into it if I go through the first one. 2009-08-15 19:19:00

...yep, just as I expected and wanted.

Played this with a friend, and we had great fun and a lot of laughs.

Good, solid fun - sometimes the simple things are the best.

Nice work

Oh right. That makes sense - If it was super long and frustrating, people may be less inclined to play it over and over. It's a cute level anyway!

I don't demand F4F, but if you fancy taking a look at one of my levels, there is Monster's Lair. The PSN is verymalty. Would welcome any comments you have - hope you enjoy!

That was short. Bouncing is always fun like at the end of Meerkat Kingdom. I would also say the music choice isn't necessary for such a short level. Once I got bounced into the front layer. Remember that if the back layer or the two thick back layers are empty players can't step backward into them, so if the launchers are in the front layer players will always land on them.

I noticed you have hearted my feedback level, maybe you can bounce over to the thread and tell me why you liked it?
