Goodness, I need level advice!

So, after obtaining the History Kit, I immediately thought of a Gothic-themed level that would be good practice for my Corner Tool editing skills. Problem is, I don't know what kind of level I should make it. Should it focus on pretty things, or a good platforming challenge, or what? It makes my brain boil. Toss me some ideas, LBPC community. I'm aimless right now. (and if you care, I start to build this level after I finish Night of the Monsters! 2.) | 2009-08-14 19:18:00 Author: SLS10 ![]() Posts: 1129 |
Well when you say you want to make a gothic themed level I think first of a Castlevania themed level. It needn't be about Castlevania but you could have do the standard vampire story. Small town in the shadow of a looming castle where a vampire sleeps by day and preys on the villagers by night. You could look at any of a thousand Castlevania pictures or screenshots on the internet for inspiration on buidling structures, graveyards, Churches, castles and castle interiors. Just a thought. | 2009-08-14 19:36:00 Author: Trindall ![]() Posts: 297 |
I'd love to see a platformer with an emphasis on gothic architecture. Arches, butresses, towers, with gargoyles and beautful windows. Could be really pretty and with that many architectural features you could have awesome jump challenges and swinging across big spans. Could be epic. | 2009-08-14 20:19:00 Author: Morgana25 ![]() Posts: 5983 |
what about a scary dark town in the woods in the midnight wive a secret that you most find out ![]() | 2009-08-14 22:43:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
maybe a level about quasimodo. Or a survival level where you try to stay atop of the tower, while gargoyles swoop down and try to knock you off. | 2009-08-14 22:46:00 Author: JKthree ![]() Posts: 1125 |
