There are loads of GIF maker programs out there, I think some are for free too. Yeh, here's a free one: http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Multimedia_and_Graphics/Video_and_Animation_Tools/Easy_GIF_Animator_Download.html I havn't used it so I don't know what its like, it says its easy to use. You might have to refresh that page to get the download btw.

There are plenty of converter programs out there that will convert to/from .fla .mov .wmv etc., but Youtube videos are google's own format and cannot (as far as I know) be converted) You need the original. From there, you can use RadTools (Look it up on Google) to convert into whatever format you need. Animated gifs are a bit different because you need something like PSPro or Photoshop which can edit frames and export as an animated gif. Rhy
